My strategy is to farm useful cards or items (for personal use or selling) while levelling. Level 1 to 13, I farm Pupas (1 map left of Geffen). Level 13 to 40, it's Creamy farming (1 map top and 1 map left of Geffen). Level 40 to 50, I farm Soldier Skeletons, Archer Skeletons, and Eggyras in Payon Cave 2. Level 50 to Job Level 50, I farm Mummies, Matyr, and Verrits in Pyramid 3. When I become a hunter and learn Claymore, I farm Evil Druids and Wraiths in Glast Heim until somewhere around level 80 to 90 then I farm Anolians with Blast Mine until level 99. Levelling a high archer and sniper is similiar but since levelling up is slower and you might not need zenny as much at that point, you can opt for higher exp monsters that doesn't drop anything useful like the Ice Titans in the video.

@@SugarRoll this build will never work on iro. You were playing in a server where traps dmg were modified, clearly (which I cant blame them for, vanilla traps SUCK ASS). The normal dmg in a vanilla server where traps' formulas have not been touched is roughly around 2-4k. This is for sure a revo server, isnt it?

@@amsgoth Never played in iro. Used a trapper build on 3 different servers and trap damage was the same. Not sure which versions has traps dealing low damage.

Works on any version. Trap damage is based on dex and int--not agi.

@@SugarRoll My mistake, I meant dex and int, it's a lvl 96 sniper with 3 str, 99dex and int and 1 on the rest, I tried with the wind traps like you but only got less than 2k damage, do i meed to get to 99?

@@powerincarnate6783 Are you using the right trap? You should be using blast mine on monsters weak to wind, claymore on monsters weak to fire and land mine on monsters weak to earth.

@@SugarRoll Yup, Anubis only gets 2470 damage from a claymore, in this case he should receive like 15000 or so. I've read that they got buffed at some point but before the traps other than the ankle snare were pretty much useless.

@@powerincarnate6783 Not sure what version you're on but I've played as a trapper on both classic and renewal and my trap damage is the same. I honestly have no idea why your trap damage is so low.

No, I haven't tried but just looking at the elemental affinities of the monster on the web, no trap will deal good damage to it.

Claymore, blast mine, land mine. If you're using a dagger, learn blitz beat and falcon assault (plus steel crow) to kill weak mobs. Finally level 1 falcon eyes--only need 1 level for the stat boost. Those are the only skills you need. Any other skill is up to you. You'll have plenty left over.

The build yes, the map no. Ice titan has been changed where it only has a fraction of the health and exp.

What's your INT and DEX? And what trap are you using against which monster? Keep in mind, I'm using blast mine on this video and it's wind damage. If you're using it against monsters that are not weak to wind, your damage will be lower but even then 2k damage is too low so if I have to guess, your INT and DEX is too low.

I just did the calculation and the DPS is actually not bad at all. It's just that an LK or even dagger Stalker would have an even better DPS + actual active skills to use with such build.

@@mainlander3920 It's a trapper build of course it's all about laying traps :) Each trap is dealing over 20k damage. Hard to beat that in terms of dps. More dps equals more exp. More exp means better leech services. I've levelled up my alt account to level 99 in just a fraction of the time it would take other jobs to do the same thing. Check out the video below. Yeah, bots ruins any mmorpg and this one is no exception. Gotta have solid anti-cheat mechanisms in place. I think private RO servers has better security measures.

I haven't logged on for a very long time though and there were bots in the game when I stopped playing. Sorry bro, I'm not a fan of falcon assault. The skill doesn't do enough damage and cast delay on it makes it unspammable.

PvP on my server is not that good. Pretty much everyone comes in as a group. It's like a mini WoE in there. Whenever I come in on my own, I meet a group of players on my way.

If you go 99 agi, you'll get just 1 ASPD more than what I have in this vid and you won't even notice the difference. If you're going PvE, yeah, you can ignore vit. I'd suggest putting more dex instead of having more agi--92 agi is pretty good already. Also, increasing your dex wll require you less int to hit 1k damage from the auto-blitz which allows you to put a little dex. It will require a little planning to optimize the stats in a calculator to ensure you don't waste anything. The archer set is very good. It deals a little more damage compared to what I have, however, it suffers from lack of versatility. You won't be able to mix and match your gears. For example, you can't use evil, deadly, or elemental armors because the armor slots are occupied by the archer set already. This severely limits your farming spots. You can't farm on medusas, loli ruris, anubis, etc. In addition, you can't share your gears with any other characters. If you have multiple characters, you have to get a new set of gears. Or if you have a friend, you can't give or let them borrow your equipment. Mocking/Immune + other gears is better IMO compared to the archer set but it comes down to preference. As for my next video, I honestly don't know. Maybe, I'll post another video once my sniper trapper hits level 99 but that is still a long way to go as he's still at level 95. Or maybe once my Agi-Dex sniper hits level 90. I dunno...

Depends on where you plan on levelling. If you're going to be farming on anolians in clocktower, 263 flee is comfortable enough for me. The amount of agi you need will depend on what kind of gears you are going to use and if you have a priest buffing you. If you're planning on levelling in comodo, I'd recommend about 275 flee due to pests having a higher hit rate than anolians. The reason I'm going vit on this video is because I'm already a sniper on this one. Snipers have windwalk which gives some flee, faster movespeed, and allows me to use indo beret which gives additional stats. Windwalk enables snipers to be less dependent on agi-up or a pecopeco hairband. Not to mention snipers have higher stats compared to hunters and also have falcon eyes to boot. All of those factors combined gives snipers significantly more flee than hunters that's why I can dodge anolians even with just 1 base agi. I have 51 agi on the other video because I was still a hunter on that one and didn't have a priest buffing me. Also, I wanted to dodge anolians earlier. A low agi sniper/hunter will only be able to dodge anolians comfortably at around level 90+. If I'm going to create a new PvM hunter trapper though, I'll have 34 agi, 95 dex, 95 int instead and this is what I would suggest to you if you're a hunter and provided that you have identical or near identical gear to mine. With my current gear, at around level 85, it will be good enough to dodge anolians without an agi-up while also dealing enough blast mine damage at later levels to one shot anolians consistently. For a sniper though, my stats in this video is perfect as it is--just keep pumping vit until level 99.

@@mactram7824 Sorry, Im not sure what a falconer build is. Is that like falcon assualt centered build? For your other question, the movement speed bonus from windwalk and pecopeco hairband do not stack. You'll only get the movement speed from the higher effect which in this case is bonus from pecopeco hairband.

I'm not a big fan of falcon assault. The damage pales in comparison to a trap by a wide margin. Even at 99 dex and 99 int and the best gears available, it just barely hits 7k damage. Also, the cast delay is significant so you can't really spam it. Trap is way better IMO. In terms of stat order, pump dex first then go int, and finally vit at the end. Blast mine damage on Anolian is computed as follows: [3+(Level/100)] * [1+(Int/35)] * Dex * Blast Mine Skill Level * 1.75 There is also a plus/minus 10% damage that serves as the lower end and higher end of the damage. Level also contributes to the damage--not just dex and int.

In this video, yes, I was lagging a bit. Its not this bad usually but playing in AU and connecting to the PH servers is not helping the speed of the my connection.

Yes, high vit characters are easy to hit. And with my WOE setup, it's a 30% curse chance. So essentially 1 in 3 shots, my target gets cursed. Pretty much every time I fire arrow shower against a group of enemies, someone gets cursed. The priest you were aiming for is most likely under the influence of Pneuma--a priest skill which makes all range attacks against them miss.
