What a good looking chap on the tenor 😉 (Its me) 😊

What a wonderful surprise! Haven't seen St Thomas's in 25 years… grandparents had moved just west of Salisbury near Wilton by my time, but (on one side) they continued to be active in the parish going all the way back to the discovery of the 'Doom Painting'… (do hope you had the chance to see it whilst there!) So stirring to hear those very bells I once knew again! The words 'thank you' seem insufficient!

Why flip the clapper? Does it affect the weight and or roll of the bell? Very interesting
@RingerOliver5910 ай бұрын
It affects the bell because if it is up wrong it will be harder stand, by flipping it over to the correct side of the bell so it is easier to stand, and it has tends to up wrong all the time same as the 4th.
