Great noir film! The ending is bittersweet; typically the good guy wins, so doing the opposite didn’t make it as predictable. However, it feels unsatisfactory due to it. But if a film can make me feel emotions towards fictional characters, then it succeeds in telling a good story.

What ever happened to the series that this was teasing for ?? I’m intrigued!

This is amazing! I’ve been trying to search for one where the voice actors are like the characters are written.

As the writer of the "mostly-innocent orphans" joke, I'm glad to see it had the desired effect.

I stopped listening after I heard the announcer stumble several times in his intro. Announcer, it'll help a lot if you: 1. Rehearse your lines, and 2. Listen to the original source for inspiration on how to deliver the lines. This started out immediately as an amateur production. I hope you get better as you go along.
