@@Vidarsteinsland yes but i mean that in -25 you wouoldn't be able to move soil with bucket as easy as you show on videoes. I'm also living in Norwey and working on excavator and sorry itæs fake with temperatures. it's maks -5. in -31 which was last winter i don't fink you even start machine

Hello😀. Normally I would have gone up on top of the mass and I tried that too, but my machine sank down because it was too heavy😩. So then I had to stand where the ground was frozen so that the machine wouldn't sink down. So the soft masses were loaded on with the equipment I have. Even if I don't look into the box on the trucks, I have a camera on the stick so I use it as my eyes🤩👍

I can show what I have as a light on the stick, but it is only an original CAT lamp which is quite flat and sits well between the log and the boom👍. The other lamps are from rigid🤩👍. Very happy with them🤩. The camera on the stick could have been set at a slightly higher angle, but it is not easy to set it to all the angles you need😳. I mostly use it to look inside the boxes of trucks when I have to take crushed stone out of them or when I stand so low that I can't see inside when I load masses onto them😀👍

we were very cold and the oilquik sensors didn't like the cold, but as you can see about 33 minutes into the video, I scrape away snow and ice. then the sound disappears. Unfortunately I didn't have time to do it before, unfortunately. But that's how it is sometimes in the winter. Everything doesn't always work perfectly😩

@@Vidarsteinsland Yee i understand the need for them. That the work needs to continue. They only see the cost. You know as well as i do that the steel is becoming a lot more week in those temperatures and the risk of destroying something is a lot higher. But they don't care about that. 😒

@Victor_Demolitionman_France In the old days, we were allowed to do demolition, but now it has become so strict here in Norway. So we have stopped doing that and are leaving it to other companies that have this as their speciality. So we just dig ditches and other things 😉👍

@@Vidarsteinsland Oh ok is it becoming more and more strict in terms of waste sorting? in France demolition is doing well there are quite a few rules cleaning of buildings asbestos removal decontamination but it remains feasible

@@BurninBogey7 yes that’s the thank for the adblue system. It’s take about 25 liter. I fill this tank every 3 diesel fills👍

To say exactly what I mean about NG TIL Caterpillar. It's one of the best machines I've driven 🤩🤩. But I've only have this for a job for 40 years🫣😉🤣🤣. If the next gen hadn't come, I wouldn't have chosen caterpillar😳. I don't think their F series was any good😵‍💫😵‍💫. There has been no nonsense with this machine of mine. The cabin comfort is top notch and much better space inside than in the other machine brands. The adblue system has worked flawlessly so far. Because I only had problems with it when I drove a Volvo 😩. And I like the new screen indide with the new weight system, I just love it😍😍Not least equally important is that it is very strong on the lift 💪💪. So all in all, I am super satisfied and can really recommend CAT 🤩🤩🤩

Although I believe they tend towards Liebherr new g8 series. From what I heard they are going for R926 G8 with extendable boom. Should be a good machine too, no? They said solely Liebherr because we are in Germany and their dealers are more common than CAT in their region.

@bdtms Liebherr is a good and solid machine🤩👍, but I don't like the cabin and the way they have made pedals and foot rests🫣😳. I also don't think they have a weight system in their screen either😱😱😱. But the taste is like the butt, it's split🤣🤣The Liebherr is also much more expensive than CAT here in Norway 😳

It wasn't fun to hear 😩. Fortunately, it has become better to be a ground worker today with all the equipment we have on the excavators in Norway today👍. There is not much work anymore with the body compared to when I started in 1984😳👍

Thanks. THIS pipes is 1000 mm big and 7 meters long🫣. the weight of it is 3 tons, so there are big pipes. They are the biggest pipes I have put in the ground😀

we have several pieces of the Hydrema 922. Absolutely perfect dump trucks for the jobs we have around 🤩👍

Caterpillar's system is fantastically good🤩👍. The Norwegian Road Safety Authority is after the trucks all the time to check if they are driving with too much load. So I use this system all the time. Here in Norway, they are allowed to weigh between 50 and 60 tonnes. Then they have between 28 and 32 tonnes depending on how many axles they have on the trucks😀👍

We use barbecue coal to thaw frozen ground so that it is easier to dig in winter to find fiber and power cables. This is a very effective way to thaw the frozen ground 👍.

@brianmurphy2494 I hope it works out. I know I'm allowed to film when there aren't that many people around the machine. The Norwegian Privacy Act is strict. That's the one he's most worried about. So I will probably film a bit in the future as well👍. But I have many hours of film coming out in the future, but not very often. I have a lot to do in the coming weekends because I will be selling my house next year. But those films are coming🤩👍
