Some fans have such a difficult time accepting when people in bands aren't depressed and sad all of the time anymore. They grow up and start moving through life differently and the music is going to reflect that. Ruckus! is a FUN record...it has been a dark time in the USA (and all over the world) and we need music that will get us moving and sharing joy in an audience.

Talk about basic human rights but a baby inside a woman is NOT her body, it’s an entirely separate life so where are its rights if we’re going down that road. We can’t protect the most innocent, helpless, and precious? Women CAN make the decision to not get pregnant in the first place. If it’s because of sick forced reasons like grape, well there are exceptions for that even in strict states. Miss me with that played out take, be responsible for your actions and you won’t have to commit murder.

Dave is a humble human being, their needs to be more people like that in the world! So tempted to go to the Brisbane show. Absolutely loved this band for so many years, but never seen them live. Also great that Dave mentioned Steveo! I go to concerts a lot of the time, and cry happy tears. I have no shame about it.

Oh you definitely should go to the show!!! Last chance! (Lots of both happy and sad tears lol) Also, I haven't read Deryck's memoir so not sure how the relationship is with Stevo but ya glad Dave mentioned him as well :)

This is a great interview! I met Dave at Warped Tour 2016 in Cuyahoga Falls leaving the venue. We had a chance to talk for a few minutes and he is the MOST humble, down-to-earth, chill guy there is on this planet. Saw them play at When We Were Young last year and had tears in my eyes knowing that was probably the last time I'd see them play. If you see this Dave, thank you for the amazing music you've given the world since the early 2000s 😎🤘

What does abortion have to do with miscarriage? His answer doesn’t make much sense. Feel for the guy for losing the baby though. Great track.
@EyesClosedBlog8 ай бұрын
It is two separate scenarios he's referring to. I believe what he means is that for some couples or women who have an unwanted pregnancy, an abortion seems like the obvious and straightforward choice as the focus is on the practicality and outcome of it (not having a baby). When his fiancée fell pregnant, they very much wanted the baby and they couldn't have had imagined having an abortion. If you're looking forward to having a baby rather than not wanting to have it, and then losing it due to miscarriage is the painful experience he seems to be describing. I hope that makes sense to you 🙂 Thanks for watching!
