I have the Same mylink on a 2016, is there any hacks to not use onstar. I personally dont think it's worth the 30 dollars a month,a fee for the navi feature when i have a phone with Google! I only use the radio, I would like to know if theres a jailbreak, lol hack feature to watch videos, and to see picture(I think I can but dont know how) but navigation would be more important

I bought a kindle book basic but I can't get the kindle book I ordered on amazon. I ordered the free app for pc windows 7 dell and my kindle has no wifi connection for some reason and I can't search for a book on the web on my kindle.

I have an Amazon Kindle and when I push the on button the screen lights up and shows the date and time - and just a background picture. Nothing else. I can find no other buttons or anything else to push prior to the scene returning to black. Please help. . .What am I missing?

I just bought 2017 Tahoe with this Onstar. I followed instructions with address given. well as voice gave me beginning driving instructions. a bent arrow appeared on upper left screen and stayed for a good 45 mins (it was a good hour drive) the highway I was on was 6 lanes in each direction. I'm in lane 4 as I'm passing an exit the darn voice tells me to exit! I got so lost because I immediately got over two exits down and now onstar is taking me the long way to get back on track, with only one arrow and tells me to make turns when I'm on top of the corner to turn! Onstar makes A LOT of monies. this is the best they can do one bent arrow for a straight highway! but tells me to connect my cell phone for Google maps. why doesn't Onstar have a mapping system like all the other companies, this is 2017 come on charging people outrageous dollars and I have to use my cell phone. I am in my free service allotment to try and get me to buy in! improve your navigation system. One arrow....still makes me laugh.

Good video for anyone that's stuck with OnStar Nav. As I watch more of these OnStar Nav vids, the more I am turned off to buying a GM product. I don't want to be forced into using a nav the way OnStar forces you to use it. Calling people to use my nav unit? Do I have to beg and get permission to use my own car? No thanks. I have evaluated a lot of cars and will be pulling the trigger in the next couple of weeks. This one nav feature, as implemented, is causing me to rule out any GM product with this. .. . but like I said, you do your demo in a very thorough and informative way.
