Guy in the video - for context, this message wasn’t a discouragement from preaching the Gospel, quite the opposite actually. But when we do go we need to understand that God is already at work, and to have eyes to see how we can partner with what He’s already doing.

I'm not religious anymore but when I was I posed the same Theory. If time means nothing to God which in the Bible it says I think like a thousand years is like a day to God. So because he's infinite in time means nothing why can't the six days of biblical creation be 6 billion years instead of a literally 6 days. Why couldn't humans have evolved to a point where he looked at them and said they can Harbor a soul and that's when he said this is good. Why do Evolution and religion have to be separate why does science have to be sidelined for belief? It's absolute nonsense

@TheDirtNASTY666 I'm pretty sure at the core it's because the bible doesn't speak about evolution and according to it, man (humans) is special amongst the cosmos being created and fostered by God himself. Now, I understand that concept. I'm not even doubting things like divine intervention. BUT religion doesn't acknowledge that the universe at its most fundamental level IS science. The very science directly of God and his creation. Every new discovery in quantum mechanics insinuates intelligent design. Why become the enemy of the very mind of God himself? Historic repetition in my eyes 🤷♂️

Guy from the video here. First - I’m so sorry this happened to you. There’s some context to the message as a whole that doesn’t always make it in to these little shorts. I addressed this specifically a bit later. If you’d like to listen to it in its entirety it’s on our page. But to be clear - you did the absolute right thing to get to safety. Any Christian leader that would tell you to stay and continue to receive abuse is certainly not speaking for God. I’m praying God would heal these profound wounds and you’d experience an abundance of grace.
