I’m surprised this came up in someone’s radar in 2024. The first time I discovered Valvola was in 2002. I was roaming through the swap meet and came across a CD with an interesting title , an interesting track title list and an interesting CD cover. I picked it up for a dollar and on my way home I popped it into the CD player of my 1994 black Ford Ranger and HOLY GOD. I bumped the first 2 tracks, got home and couldn’t wait to listen to it with my friend at night. I waited until 9PM, drove to his house, told him I had just picked up this really dope CD. We got in my truck, he started to roll a joint, we bumped it while he rolled and I drove 10 minutes away to the cemetery. We parked at the deepest end, turned off the truck, turned the CD player back on, rolled the windows down, lit the joint and continued the CD album. We smoked until the joint was done and we stayed there tripping until the CD was over. One of the most iconic highs ever lol Anyways this CD is still in my CD case and is by far in my top 10 CDs of all time.
