God PROVES TO THE DEVIL that Job is loyal by killing Job's family and servants. Why does God need to prove anything to Satan? Also, Job is considered righteous for not blaming God... God IS to blame though. God is the one who had Job's family killed. All of that said, it really doesn't matter. No matter how the stories are written, they're no different from stories passed down from Ancient Greeks, or the holy stories within Hindu lore.
