A certain day of rest is not the Sabbath. Complete Rest from the Senses, giving no thought for your life, and allowing the Infinite Soul of God Eternal you truly are to be all activity is the True, Spiritually Discerned Message of the Sabbath...!! It is DWELLING IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH AT ALL TIMES, which is Infinite Awareness of God Omnipresence. The Bible says the seventh day is the Sabbath. Sunday is the first day... That's not the Sabbath day. If you're working on Sunday, you're fine. What you shouldn't do is work on Saturday, but keep it holy, as it is the Sabbath day.

I'm an atheist and when my daughter was in the last few year of High School, she fell in with a group of christian kids. They were OK at first, but soon started trying to indoctrinate her into their faith/cult. She asked me about christianity and I answered all of her questions honestly, including about the discrepancies and hypocricies in the bible. She asked me my opinion about it all, though since I'm a lifelong atheist, she already knew my stance on superstitions and organised religion. Even though she moved away from it initially, she still stayed in contact with the few more open minded ones on social media (I think she was into one of the boys in the group) and I didn't mind that as she's quite level headed. After about a year, I found out that the rest of the christian clique had been putting the evangelical hard-word on her and she was considering getting BAPTISED, of all things. I could see that she was in serious danger of becoming drawn into a cult, so as a parent I felt it my duty to steer her clear of them. I talked her into breaking away from their group and getting rid of her bible, which I didn't even know she owned until she mentioned the baptisement thing. She finished High School and lost contact with the group and hasn't heard from them in the seven years since, completing her college education and moving in with her current partner Amanda. I dread to think what would have happened if she had gone down that rabbit-hole, but I believe that she would have figured out what it was all about pretty quickly ... she's a smart girl and not easily fooled by superstitious nonsense.

I respect Hugh Ross, yet I have to consider creation and what it means! In the beginning means what? What was there in the beginning and what pre existed something else? Narratives today have changed perspectives and ideas on how to think, but realizing that men change words, add and take away and change perspectives, you really need a certain amount of logic to get to the truth! I suppose this is natural? Well, what pre existed the Bible? You speak as Christians of The Old Testament, giving it the label that it is old and for today of lesser value than the new words created to follow! What has happened then to the "Ancient Path" as mentioned in Jeremiah/Yirmayah 18:15 For my people have forgotten me. They have burned incense to false gods. They have been made to stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths, to walk in byways, in a way not built up;! Have you forgotten what was "In The Beginning"? The Ancient path? This speaks of means written down to follow, but many will not trust in what existed prior to the Bible coming into the existence at the hands of men and so named to confuse! Instead of valuing the Torah, you call it "Old Testament" giving lesser value by renaming it Bible! The New Narrative hardly considers the original scripture as an original that pre existed the Bible and therefore is at the beginning of scriptural explanations! Since the Ancient Path refers to references of the Israelites failing to follow these paths, how seriously do you take this, to be considering it in the "Old Testament" or Old Ways that were built up and established long ago? This does not refer to Christianity, but to the original ways to follow and to know the name of your God, but you call Him "The Lord"! As you can see, I am not Christian, but I do pay attention to creation and to scriptures, for that you need to get back to Hebrew to really comprehend what was conveyed! Was the flood Biblical? How can it be if the Bible did not exist at the time? Open your minds and ask questions! That is good to do!

How amazing it was to attend and serve at the 30th anniversary celebration service. I loved singing those classic songs from way back when as they are so anointed. praise the Lord for those 30 years and looking forward to what the Lord has planned for this house of God for the future. And then to sing again "look what the Lord has done". Praise and Glory be to our Father God and Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

If we are made in the image of God, then it might be possible to turn other planets to become like earth by God's inspiration. The future generations will need to be educated in science and religion (faith). How can God give inspiration to pagans or to those who do not know Elohim?

I'm curious why your church gets some of its music from the heretical Bethel Music / Bethel Church? Their music is captivating but their theology is very suspect if not outright heretical. They and specifically their head pastor Bill Johnson are a bridge to the New Age movement and are part of the non-Christian NAR (New Apostolic Reformation). I was so disappointed to see the lack of discernment regarding this. While some songs are fine theologically, many others are not and are more at home in an Elevation or Joel Osteen feel good Word of Faith church.
