Can you reface your reel with this also or just relief? If you can, how?

Hi Sunny, this would be for relief only, you would need a rapid facer to reface your reels.

What is the suggested degree/angle regarding tri plex green mowers ? and when is a bedknive no longer effective ...!!

Hello Mark The bedknife angle varies from manufacturer and type of blade being used. The angle is normally somewhere around -5 degrees for the top face and -5 for the front face. The information is available from the manufacturers websites or distributors. A blade is generally worn out when it is no longer able to achieve the desired top face angle without removing material from the back of the bedknife (the non-face part).

Thx for info....-5 for top face ?... the reason I ask is I hve had a heated discussion today with my mechanic...he angrily emplies a consultant from England suggest 1 degree for top face ...this I could not understand ++ therfore the enquiry...ok I am working in Denmark ...so perhaps he misunderstiood the info related ...WHO knows ??

@@kiwimale1 We do greens -5 and the front face is +7. Also, clean that damn tray and sump box all the damn time! The box likes to rust.
