I’d say a Caliban/Syntho would be better. You really didn’t get much use of the ignitions, which is what makes caliban’s so good. Not your fault, the spike is only so good without a buff (hence the synthocep recommendation). That being said, use what you enjoy! The game is meant to be fun, so who cares what’s best, what’s meta, or what @grimmSOL ‘s gatekeeping bitch-ass thinks? Have fun with it!

There is now no reason to run a Hunter in PvE when the SES Nova Warlock rotation blows the Celestial Still Hunt Burst DPS out of the water (1.1mln on just the Nova) and gives way more survivability.

The combo is dead. Common hunter L. Hope they nerf void invis, combo blow and grapple melee next!

I don’t understand all the doom and gloom in the comments. At 395k vs 410k, with or without celestial it does the same damage. But importantly, it gets off its shots much quicker, you only have to fire 2 shots instead of six. The dps numbers are gonna be way higher. Over the course of a damage phase, you fire 2 less shots every time you pop still hunt, and it still does more damage than regular still hunt. Looks like nighthawk is still meta to me.

I was so surprised yesterday playing after the patch, how my still hunt did jack. Then I saw that they had patch notes and one third dmg nerf is just too much. I rather have some other exotic now. I would've guessed maybe a 15% nerf, maybe even 20%, but this is too much.

From my unscientific testing on the witness, it lost about a million worth of damage. Bungie literally just gutted it, at least the nighthawk variant.

Who's the guy that said warlocks are finally DPS meta, like we didn't have sticky made spam meta for ages, and the strand super spam. Hunters had our trip mine build nerfed, now the still hunt, we also had our 1-2 punch nerfed a long time ago, and stareaters, Goldie Nerf. Like the stillhunt combo is only really good for bosses with easy Crit spots, and if not you subbing a nerfed div so you can hit Goldie shots

1st Clip Of Damage is "Before the nerf" 2nd Clip Of Damage is "after the nerf" these 2 clips can have a side by side comparison as they both show damage from still hunt & Celestial Nighthawk + Still Hunt 3rd Clip Is Regular Golden Gun (3 shots) & Regular 3 shot still hunt. 4th and 5th Clip is celestial nighthawk damage + still hunt v. Star Eater X6 + Still Hunt. we have 2 seperate clips as in the first clip i get flinched and ino doesnt. the second clip is perfect damage from my side and ino getting flinched. after the clips are shown it will show you a side by side comparison of Celestial still hunt vs. Star Eater X6 Golden Gun + Still hunt.

Hey guys the build im going to make for this is going to come out very soon! this video isnt a build i lowered my intellect as much as i could to see how fast i could get my supers before defeating the lost sector. i was able to get 2 supers within 4 mins. which in my opinion is very good and i can see a play for this being potent in raids/dungeons/gms!

Assassins is doing nothing for you when you have in stylish executioner. I would use gyrfalcon chest peace and put ascension or the slowing dodge instead of threaded spectre to have another ability to make you invisible.

Hi, I think you don't need to run chaos acceleratant becuase the NM's will give you the tracking. Either way, definitely want devour since void ability kills would be frequent feeding you life and grenade energy.

This build is very heavy on orbs of power. to get perfect synergy you will need to either swap out a mod and make your own, or communicate with a fire team member to synergize there build with yours. This build i made is because i synergized it with a friend of mine.

You can still be invis and use the melee still as a smoke bomb around enemies, then it still does the snare bomb effect which still does wonders around enemies.

How viable is this build for soloing legendary?

What is the point in the CWL mods if you have no mods on that consume it? You've got Elemental Charge and Superchraged but nothing like Protecteive Light or HEF to use the CWL stacks?

Great build, I run NFs in a pair so barrier and ursa seems a bit of a waste. This builds perfect, just missing a couple of mods "as always..." what do you reckon to running mask of the quiet one for ability generation instead of the helm?

Not bad, I think if it where me I’d rather be running the SSO revolver with timed payload and then either a scout or auto in the energy slot, probably a scout though, something like vouchsafe. I do like top tree void though with warminds decree, such a great mod to be able to spawn warmind cells with your grenades and super, I’d probably be tempted to run contraverse hold to max this out though. I’m a Hunter main myself but play all characters, I think for the Glassway I’m going to either run revenant to try and crowd control as best I can in the final boss room with Mask Of Bakris or Aeons or bottom tree Nightstalker for the survivability of going Invis, probably with Onnioculus or again Aeons.
