Hi, creator of the MU here (just made it as a TN on DA since I knew the basic theme and it vibed), and this is pretty much the jist of it: - Rulers of prosperous, wide and open magical otherworldly lands (Amphibia and Teyvat), in particular ruling over the most sophisticated and influential royal area in the island (Andrias over Newtopia, Raiden over Inazuma). - Despite their seemingly benevolent and soft-mannered nature on the surface, they have ulterior motives, in particular in the pursuit of ancient, mysterious, and all-powerful cosmic artifacts/power sources leading to eternal life and power (Andrias with The Calamity Box, which he intends to use for The Core to regain it's full power and allow him to join it in a reality where he can live forever alongside the greatest minds in Amphibia, and Shogun with Eternity, which she intends to use to forever ensure Inazuma's preservation from Celestia's destruction of all worlds). - Both have served higher powers in order to achieve these goals (The Core for Andrias and The Electro Archon, who would promise them with eternal life with it's energies, and have used this higher power to temporarily perserve the life of casualities of their endeavors, as well as eventually live forever in the alternate dimensions created by these higher powers. - Despite these goals being seemingly being for the sole purpose of making their lands the most powerful out of all others in the universe, the true reasons they are in pursuit of these forces is to see a girl near and dear to their heart that they lost centuries ago due to their own actions as monarchs (Andrias with Leif, his childhood best friend, who was forced to abandon him after running away with the Calamity Box to save Amphibia, and Shogun with Makoto, her twin sister who was one of the casualities in the catacylsm on Inazuma 500 years ago). - Both of them are met with, centuries later, a prophesied young hero(ine) from another world trapped in theirs, who happen to be blessed with the exact same power they're looking for and end up being their greatest rival in centuries (Anne Boonchuy and Sasha Waybright for Andrias, Aether and Lumine for Shogun).
