Outstanding video. Im 66 years old and this is one of the best videos I have ever seen. No unnecessary noise, talking or other auditory distraction. Plain and simple, peaceful driving that allows the joy of watching the beautiful Arizona landscape and the sound of the wind passing by. A delightful multi stimulating video to watch. BART is not really a metro/subway. It's more similar to a super-RER or an S-bahn. It goes extremely far into the suburbs and travels at 80 mph (130 km/h). The longest BART line is almost 95 km long.

@@LetsTravelTogetherYT The German S-bahns are considered the closest facsimile. But they come severely short when you look at the actual lines. S-bahns are basically just commuter rail expanded to regional rail standards. They only serve one metro area and flare out into the suburbs. So all the lines have a hard cap on frequency because you can only fit so many lines in the central city tunnels. BART serves three major cities. SF is the dominant point of interest with most of the lines going there. But BART still has plenty of demand in Oakland-Berkeley and down toward San Jose. So it operates more like a true high-speed subway rather than a traditional S-bahn. There are some lines in Tokyo that are arguably more similar to BART than the S-bahns. These are the types of lines that run a very subway-like service with fast but subway-style rolling stock. But this is such a long explanation that it's easier to just call BART a souped up S-bahn with consistent 10-minute frequencies in the entire network vs the sometimes puny 30-minute to 1 hour frequencies of the S-bahns in the deep suburbs.
