Todays music fucking sucks, old rock and metal need to live on more

I’m happy for him. I saw them in a tiny venue in Minneapolis opening for other bands. I threw down some $ and we partied that night and they were so gracious. Their manager sent me VIP tix for their next tour, and he was a wreck. The rest of the band was awesome. We all have our problems, but I could see his was ruining his life. Best of luck to him

Great interview. I started shooting photos back in the 80's. I never shot large format but I shot 35mm on manual SLR cameras. I worked at a photo shop and had done some dark room developing. Wolf is right; it's fun but there's a lot to learn in the developing film aspect. Now in the digital age, you can see your shot immediately. Back then you learned by trying the different setting on the camera, i.e., aperture, shutter speed, ISO film ratings, etc. Then you had to wait until the film was developed to see the results. I actually miss those days.

Thanks. I grew up with a Dad who shot on film, and I did the same at NYU film school. Although the resolution of digital photos, even some taken on smartphones, is great, nothing beats film. I feel the same way about cinema. An older movie that was shot well on film has a look about it, and greater depth of field in the image, that can't be beat by today's HD blockbusters that are crammed with digital artifacts. I love a lot of modern stuff, but it looks different.

What a coincidence! I'm from Braintree, MA
@sidejamsАй бұрын
I'm originally from MA too, and I've been to Braintree many times. A news story came up in my YT feed that dealt with noisy courts in the town, and I learned it's a problem in a lot of places. They need a lot of sound baffling.

One of my favorite concerts was Hinder back in 03? Whenever Lips of an Angel was released. There was a contest the radio station for meet and greet and swag if you won a kissing contest. You had to keep lip to lip with a partner for the longest. No way I was losing! I brought in my bff and we won! We shocked everyone as the only same sex pair, though completely platonic. It lasted about 10hrs. We got front row tickets, pics, autographs with everyone and even hung out after the show with a few guys but sadly not Austin John. Your music got me through my hardest life changes and some of my favorite rock memories and for that, I thank you. (I’ve always loved the vines.)

Off topic but Austin swims every day and his zodiac sign is scorpio so that's kinda interesting or a bit funny to me. Hopefully that doesn't sound weird or anything. I just thought it was a cool fun fact. Edit: other than that the interview is pretty interesting as well.

I LOVE that they came on and did this! The best of luck and happiness to you all! Too many times when someone leaves a group, there are false rumors spread and this is awesome to see that circumstances and that it is all about love and growth. Love to you Austin, and your family and the other members of Home Free moving forward. On a side note, I lost my dad not long before you of a sudden heart attack when her was 6 hours by car from me coming to visit cross country. It was devastating and hard, and he never got to meet his last grandbaby. I cried with you through your loss with SO much understanding. Love you brother.

I heard Mick Foley tell the story once, that he was visiting a Make-a-Wish kid that had been badly burnt or something like that if I remember correctly, and when he showed up the kid was listening to twisted sister. They talked about twisted sister a bit then the next time it came by he brought Dee with him to surprise the kid. Mick half jokes he regretted doing it because all the sudden pro wrestler Mick Foley wasn't cool Dee Snider was the man
