the raft acts crazy when you have more stuff on it mainly if you go under the umbrella thing or near it and open the backpack, the raft tips up or goes in the air above the water, which in itself parts and goes up or to the sides. Hard to cook when the fire is under the umbrella.

if you want to bring back tires and barrels, add the desired raft components, add tiers and barrels, do not add the wood, sail back , and then cancel the builds, that way you wont loose any in the demolition. this will affect the raft handling till you cancel the builds

Put up ghost images and only add what you want to bring back. Then when you get back just delete the images and get the resources,

There is one of the green golden boxes in one of the underground caverns you passed it around the end of one of your earlier episodes I think I time stamped when I commented on that video. I think it was before you fully had oxygen so you were hurrying back or something.

Not at all what I would define as "realistic". Like many have pointed out, this is very much like The Long Dark, which I am not a fan of although I know a lot of people enjoy it, but this has a long way to go to be a viable game, much less a realistic experience.

This is definitely like the long dark, which is a superb game. Graphics aren't as good as TLD Make a fire and boil snow till it's safe to drink.

The items in the submarine are random. The latest update will give you one rare item. Sometimes you'll get the extension belt, which is super-helpful to get if it's what's in there. I know you've played this a lot, but I'm totally here for it :)

To anyone that's just starting to play this game or even someone starting a new save i would suggest not dismantling the chests that you come across as i have noticed that later on in the game you get extra items in them for example the Terra Tokens. If you dismantle the chests you will have less access to these in the future.
