I have a stone wall in my living room that my dad and grandpa spent many weekends up in the mountains gathering suitable rocks to build it with. The same stone also spans 150' across the front of my house as a wainscoting covering the 2.5' of basement that's above grade. Nothing can emulate natural rocks covered in lichen and uniquely formed over millions of years. All of them are igneous impregnated with quarts and granite. Truly beautiful. If I didn't have a choice, though, your wall looks pretty good and I appreciate the clever technique you used. I'll keep it in mind for future projects.

@@LEK this is average size for 3 room apartment actually. They all ~70-90 sq.m. Two room: ~60 sq.m One room: ~40 sq.m

@@v.r.2834 Why prejudice? I'm half Russian, have been to the former USSR, and I've done a lot of traveling including living and marrying in Egypt. IMO Russian and Egyptian decorating styles and colours are horrific. Very few are calming to the eye. This one is an exception. My Russian Canadian family had huge class, style and smarts.
