I heard stock up on WATER , food, pepper spray, meds, books for reading, maps and weapons. I think our electrical grids in major cities will crash. I think the Russians will play with this by hacking our system. Imagine no electricity for a month all over the US. Your tips are good but think about this upcoming disaster affect all of us too n a differ way. Alos have family or support group. Sadly I have no one but me myself and I

At 65 when you withdraw it for non medical its taxed like traditional IRA. Good things about HSA is you can invest/contribute without having a job and you can save your receipts for years and get reimbursed.

woah, I just found you by accident. I resisted budgeting but my husband persuaded me and it's changed my life! I used to spend nearly everything (and more) that I earned and we were going backwards for a few years but now with a budget, we're going well.

I love this video. Congratulations! # Major achievement! . You two took me and my hubby's approach. We did that at the beginning of our marriage. It has been a game changer for us.. We have grown our wealth tremendously over the years as a result of us becoming debt free by yr #2 of our marriage.. We just celebrate our 15th yr as a BW/WM couple. We are ecstatic and so grateful to God for the financial growth we have achieved. Wishing you and Morgan all the best. Stay safe and God bless :-)

@NiaMorganVlogs4 жыл бұрын
I love you more! With Capital One or Ally Bank, you can create savings "buckets" within your account and name the accounts the names of your goals! You can also keep track of the amounts/names in a notebook/binder/excel!

Aha! Thank you! Always was curious how that works. It’d be better for me to have the accounts. I wish Delta did it, too!

No, I think it’s perfect! Why can’t we be excited about educating ourselves and being equipped with the tools to prayerfully ride out a recession with ease! Your hyped expression helps to make people happy to click on your video because they get the feeling that what lay ahead is fun not dreadful! Aka less intimidating. Let’s get pumped about doing the right thing and creating a safe landing for ourselves for once! Let’s teach people that delayed gratification can feel as good as instant gratification! Watching our savings grow can feel the same as buying a new pair of Shoes! Can we say paradigm shift! Hello?!!

Hi Michael! Thank you so much for the thoughtful message! Morgan was in AR for one year after college and then moved to be ATL to be with me! We're loving it - and we have family here on both sides. We'll be together 10 years this year!!! Hoping to travel the Oregon Coast and will definitely vlog that. Take care and thanks again for the comment!

Great video! One thing it doesn't really take into account are health issues though - your growth numbers assume zero medical costs. I've been wanting to do an HSA for years and this year at open enrollment I was about to take the leap when a mammogram came back with something wonky. I looked at the cash price of the radiology stuff and decided it's financially better to stick with a traditionally insurance plan for now. For anyone who is on medication for health conditions it could also be more cost effective to go with traditional insurance - prescriptions can be very very expensive and with an HSA you have to pay full retail price. I have a friend whose meds are $2,000/mo - it hard to pay full price for that and still get ahead in savings/investing. Great video though, thanks for posting!
@NiaMorganVlogs4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment and I'm happy you found this video helpful! High deductible health plans are definitely not for those who know they have health conditions and will use their insurance regularly. Although, some might still go that route if they have the deductible saved and know they'll reach it early in the year - hope that makes sense! Praying for you and hoping everything is OK.

Im curious how it works if you were wanting to MAX out your contribution would you just break up the max for the amount of paychecks in the year or do as much as you can and then the contributions 'shut off' once its maxed out for the tax year?
@NiaMorganVlogs4 жыл бұрын
Yes, break up the max on a per-paycheck basis. The contributions don't "shut off", you have to monitor closely and make sure you're not over-contributing.
