It's a beautiful pattern. I am watching from Wales UK. I am a beginner. At the start of this tutorial it says 2+2+2ch *** I am sorry, but I don't understand this part. Everything else I do understand. Can you please explain a little more in detail for me? Thank you.

2+2+2ch *** means 2 and multiples of 2, so you should start with a chain that is a multiple of 2.

2+2+2ch*1. Means chain 2x2. = 2 4 6 8 10 ----- then add 1 chain hope this helps

Would look neater if you did a stacked double crochet at the beginning instead of a chain 3. Gets rid of the gap.
