What are your settings for the most realistic feel? I have steering wheel, pedals, and trucking shifter. Former OTR driver myself for 4 years, so really wanting to maximize the opportunity. I don't do any mods though lol

How mike just wondering what wheel you use and how you get that many degrees rotate out of it?

Watch Call the Malls video, where he ends up delivering at the end of a dead-end road and touches power lines (in the title of the video). Watching that he rotates the Steering wheel in his Peterbilt 379 a lot to get out. I count 2 and a 3rd rotations at least in each direction, placing it at about 1640-1660 degrees of rotation. Watching Trucking Passions videos, counting his W900 it has 2 and a half rotations each way which is 1800 degrees of rotation. It seems different trucks have different degrees of rotations.

Love to see you back in the ETs seat hammer. The retarder on your Scania is hydraulic and mounted on the gearbox. It centrifuges oil around to make more resistance. The retarder usually have more stages than a Jake therefore easier to fine tune going down hill. 😊

There is a bit goin on especially in the East side of EU in terms of checks: to keep it simple, you started in a state that is not EU YET, and when you enter a state that is EU you're cargo bags documents are inspected by special military. Same thing if you enter from a EU state to a NON EU state. Some procedures can be skipped ONLY if you have some special documents in trucking. (TIR)

Pulling an excavator with a semi might be considered "normal." But I believe that it would be quicker, more efficient, and less fuel used if you had the excavator pull the semi to the worksite.

We have a 98 kenworth with a 3406 and a 15 speed also. Back when my uncle still drove truck he’d haul bobcats from their big plant in Gwinner nd to Minneapolis. That was the first truck I got to learn how to drive and it’s to this day my favorite one to drive when I go back and help during harvest. Can’t beat the sound of a 3406 and don’t even get me started about the engine brake sound. Edit to add: can’t tell you how many times I try shifting like a regular H pattern when jumping back and forth between trucks. I forget to go up and over and back down sometimes when I hop back in that truck when coming from either our 13 or 10 speed 😂
