Only the body can be defined as shitbox. The motor and transmission are better than anything Merc is putting out these days. M112k is bulletproof.

not same but similar AMG hand builds these, Chrysler doesn’t , it does not have the precision or reliability of these masterpieces.

sounds great. Did you remove tips? I have a 2000 BoxS and tips are welded on, so when I tried to drill the angle to the surface in back of pipes it just slips:(

+Michael Groth Yes they are removable on the 04, but try using a grinding stone for your drill.

I just did my 99 used a plasma cutter to punch holes in the baffle part were it splits the pipes

sounds real good for a simple change. Not sure it will pass the emission test or general test like that in Belgium here? If they see it's missing they won't let it pass.

+swansmeister There are no changes to the catalytic converters done it's just a pipe trough the resonator so it won't change the emissions.

No it doesen't drone inside. It's actually very quite you need to wind the windows down if you want to hear it. It is the must do mod on the c32

No trouble with the emissons. I didnt remove any cats only the middle muffler. This is how it should have sounded from the factory if you ask me.

Any issues with emissions testing? Got a 2004 with only 60K miles I just picked up, love the sound of the engine and that exhaust note sounds perfect.
