Can you work in the round with this scarf or not?

This scarf is worked flat because I used double stockinette stitch, but you can find similar looking patterns that are worked in the round.🙂

Your ornaments are so cute and fun! I find that when knitting small projects, it’s much easier on double pointed needles than circular ones. Last year for Christmas 🎅, I knitted sweaters, boots and hats for my grandchildren’s stuffed animals 🧸. I had fun making them and my grandchildren were quite happy to dress up their toys! I should soon knit one of your dog sweaters for my big dog.

Hi.. Please share the weight of your doggo n how much wool was used in the project, i mean this sweater. It would be very helpful. I'm ordering yarn today for the first time n don't know how much would I need for my 15kg girl. 😅
@calicoradio_knits13 күн бұрын
Hello! My dog is 5.5kg, and I used 95 grams / 190 meters for the size small. I unfortunately don't have yardage amounts for every size, but if you're knitting a size other than the small, I'd recommend checking out the other projects for this pattern on Ravelry. You can see how much yarn others used for their different sized projects. 🙂 ravel.me/portland-raglan-dog-sweater

I would love to do this, but I only crochet, and I have no clue which type of needle I need, my yarn which is merino wool is much thicker, perhaps 4 times thicker lol so I feel lost
@calicoradio_knits22 күн бұрын
Hello! In this case, I'd recommend checking out your yarn's label. Usually the yarn label will list a recommended needle size that will work well with the yarn. Also since scarf dimensions don't have to be too specific, you could also use the yarn label as a jumping off point for figuring out how many stitches you want to cast on. The label will typically tell you how many stitches to cast on in regular stockinette stitch per 10cm/4in. Hope this helps 🙂
