can you explain how you got the rpm lights to work
@DarkWater112315 күн бұрын
In the Moza Pithouse software, go to the wheel options. Then on the right you should see the option for "Engine RPM Indicator Switch Mode." Turn that to "RPM Indicator" and it should work. Hope that helps!

@@DarkWater1123 thanks think my wheel maybe faulty
@DarkWater112311 күн бұрын
That's not good! Make sure you have the latest firmware update. If you're able to get it working, you'll most likey need to adjust the % of rpm per rpm light, as the rpms go much lower in ATS & ETS2. If the issue still persists, contact support for the place you purchased it from and explain your issue. They should be good at helping you out! I had a faulty wheel, and both Moza and the dealer I bought the wheel from really helped me out on getting a replacement.
@TheRogue57620 күн бұрын
Hey, just so you know you could use the wiper buttons for the retarder in ETS2 but you have to go into your profile's controls.sii file and bind the following: config_lines[351]: "mix retarder0 `semantical.retarder0?0`" config_lines[352]: "mix retarder1 `semantical.retarder1?0`" config_lines[353]: "mix retarder2 `semantical.retarder2?0`" config_lines[354]: "mix retarder3 `semantical.retarder3?0`" config_lines[355]: "mix retarder4 `semantical.retarder4?0`" config_lines[356]: "mix retarder5 `semantical.retarder5?0`" E.g: config_lines[351]: "mix retarder0 `joy.b47?0 | semantical.retarder0?0`" - Replace joy.b47?0 with each button on the stalk, you'll need to bind them to something else in game first to figure out what the game calls them but I know somebody who managed to set it up. Also, since there's only 5 settings you can't really set them up for a Scania properly but you could set it up for every other truck in the game since they only have 4 levels (Off, 1, 2, 3,).
@TheRogue57620 күн бұрын
You could also set it up to be the wipers if you wanted as well, you would need to bind the following: config_lines[375]: "mix wipers0 `semantical.wipers0?0`" config_lines[376]: "mix wipers1 `semantical.wipers1?0`" config_lines[377]: "mix wipers2 `semantical.wipers2?0`" config_lines[378]: "mix wipers3 `semantical.wipers3?0`" config_lines[379]: "mix wipers4 `semantical.wipers4?0`"

Thank you for this!! I really appreciate you telling me. I'm going to try to get it to work tonight!
@DarkWater112313 күн бұрын
@TheRogue576 I played around in the controls config file, and your suggestion is truly game changing! I also found configs for the cancelation of the turn signals as well as for each level of lights, off, park, and on. config_lines[392]: "mix lblinkerh `semantical.lblinkerh?0`" config_lines[394]: "mix rblinkerh `semantical.rblinkerh?0`" config_lines[387]: "mix lightoff `semantical.lightoff?0`" config_lines[388]: "mix lightpark `semantical.lightpark?0`" config_lines[389]: "mix lighton `semantical.lighton?0`" I tested all of them, and they work flawlessly! That, with the wipers and retarder lines you suggested, the multi-function stalk is issue-free! Thank you so much for telling me about this! I really appreciate it!
@TheRogue57613 күн бұрын
@DarkWater1123 Were you able to get the hold buttons working? I suggested the same thing to somebody else but they said it just turns off straight away after you indicate.
@DarkWater112312 күн бұрын
I just tested that one again, and I got the button mixed up the first time, so no, unfortunately it doesn't work the way it should. 😕 it was just canceling the turn signal for the brief hold. So that's my bad. If SCS were to enable a turn signal cancel config, that would solve the issue. I just reverted back to using the Moza ETS2/ATS setting just for the turn signals. I kept the wipers, retarder, and lights configured separately, and they function perfectly.

What's the website moza set up
@DarkWater112326 күн бұрын
I don't understand your question. If you're wondering what website i bought the whole setup from, It was a mix between simmotion.com and mozaracing.com
@projectandorai6009Ай бұрын
Hi man, how exactly have you noticed the issue with your previous Moza wheel? Can you describe that more? Sorry if you are explaining this in the video but Im just 8 mins into it so far. Thanks!
@DarkWater1123Ай бұрын
Sure thing. The issue is had with the wheel was that anytime I pressed "up" on the left thumbstick, the right thumbstick would activate to go left without being pressed. It would continue to go left, even without me touching the wheel until I pressed the right thumbstick to go a different direction or pressed "down" on the left thumbstick. I first discovered it when I was trying to map camera views/controls to the right thumbstick while the left one for the look up/down/left/right. It became very obvious when I tried using the wheel in Farming Simulator when I tried using the thumbsticks for walking & looking around like a regular controler. In FS, any time I would move forward with the left stick, the camera would spin uncontrollably to the left. I reached out to Moza for help, they helped me troubleshoot it, but ultimately needed repair or replacement due to a faulty motherboard. From what I gathered with my issue with the wheel, it seems pretty rare for that ti happen. And the support team at SimMotion (where I bought it from) worked with Moza and helped me get a replacement wheel. Honestly, it was the best customer service I've ever had.
@projectandorai6009Ай бұрын
@@DarkWater1123 Thank you for explaining, sounds like a really rare issue. Good to hear Moza's customer service is top, just like their products.

Im waiting awhile for my moza to show up ordered it like two weeks ago, how long did it take, ill be using manual drive i drive a stick at work dont need to in my game just curious on how long it took to ship
@DarkWater1123Ай бұрын
It depends on where you purchased it from and where you live. I purchased the TSW, shifter, and pedals from SimMotion.com because it was easier and faster to ship with me being in the U.S. and it shipped within a week of my order. I ordered rhe R5 bundle from Moza, and that one took a couple weeks to ship. And I ordered the turn signal stocks from Moza directly over a month ago, it it just now shipped, but I think they were on pre-order for a while yet. I would reach out to whichever vender you ordered yours through and request a status update. Most vendors are usually pretty good about giving you an update.

could you make a video comparing this with the hori truck system, I want to know if I'm better off paying less for a full kit or getting more quality with a moza wheel
@DarkWater1123Ай бұрын
I see your point and don't blame you one bit for requesting that. I don't own the HORI Truck Control System, but I have a friend that does. I can see if he'd be open to the idea of letting me do a comparison video of it vs. the Moza Truck Sim Wheel. I can't promise it, but I will try.
@micahpowers2614Ай бұрын
Pay for tge Moza lol. The hori is a bad design overall. The analog sticks will get bumped when youre turning cause theyre so tall, the buttons are not backlit, the buttons on the shifter are in a bad location. You either have to reach around the shifter or angle your hand weirdly to hit the bottom buttons. Just isnt worth the money. Pay the $550 or whateber for the truck bundle from moza and than add a shifter and clutch pedal if you want for a couple hundred more. Makes more sense.

Cool setup and wheel. I like the TSW wheel and I might buy it since it’s 50$ off on Black Friday. I have a Logitech DD wheel and as far as I know it should work now that Logitech the RS QR Adapter. I also liked and subbed to get you to an even 500 subs. I’m new to ATS, just hit level 10 and wish I bought this game sooner. I lucked out and was one of the winners during the SCS livestream for the Arkansas DLC that won a free code for the DLC.
@DarkWater1123Ай бұрын
That's awesome! Thank you!! 😀 I remember watching that stream. I'm glad you were able to win and get the game! I have over 1000 hours in the game and have had many different profiles. It truly is one of my most favorite games to play, and thank you for subscribing! Before the TSW came out, I was looking at the Logitech DD. How is it? I think the TSW should work with the adapter, but I wouldn't know for sure. However, the wheel is kind of heavy, so the force feedback could be a little weak. Even with the R5, it's a little light at some points, but I compensate that by turning up the settings in-game. So far I haven't had any issues since doing that.
@TheCe1ticZombieАй бұрын
@ I hope to also hit 1000 hrs in ATS someday. The Logitech wheel is great so far. It’s too bad they took a while to come out with more accessories, everything is built to last and easy to setup. I just bought the round wheel and the shifter / handbrake. The Round wheel is really nice but still a little small for trucking. Thanks for letting me know that the TSW wheel is a little heavy. I’m still trying to figure out how to set up my rig for both trucking and switching to other racing games.
@DarkWater1123Ай бұрын
Being able to switch out the wheel via quick release is a huge plus. As for the weight of the TSW, though, if you have the 11Nm DD wheel, that should be plenty to handle the weight of the TSW. I only have 5Nm, which is where it becomes just slightly too weak. I think the recommended amount is about 9-12Nm, but it can work woth lower. So if you'd be able to get the adapter to fit and work your logitech, you shouldn't have any issues if you chose to go with it.
