Designed by the late great BOB RISSI of RISSON amps. Plus he designed the ill fated Fender solid state line and so many parts and components were substituted for cheaper stuff by the CBS bean counters that the amps failed miserably/ I mean the Transonic amps were reliable and well liked and he designed them -- one would think his next designs would be better - not blow up in 20 minutes...Leo Bailed cause he could see that CBS did not give a flying F about sound or quality.
