I had to open a new credit card account with Amex. I think it’s because they wouldn’t give me the sign up bonus. Still have the card and generated almost 80k points so far. Great card for points

@andriipronenko2733 yup separately. The points weren’t able to merge either so I downgraded the gold to the green card (no fee). Since it was a new application I had a separate credit limit approved and I also transferred over my credit from the gold account. I left the green card at the min of $1,000 or so. Not sure if there’s an easier way to do all of this lol

Not sure what you mean but when you place an order it usually won’t buy the stock automatically. It has to wait for someone selling the stock for the price you want to buy. Could be quick or take a couple hours

The "On Air" light can be moved to the side walls, so that if you're streaming it is visible in face cam, coz I feel it's too bright to place near the monitor. A Benq halo barlight can be mounted on main monitor + a webcam (Anker C200F - 1440p). Add a soft fabric footrest if you feel like. You can also add a USB and card reader, with a angled wireless charger for your phone. For now this much should be sufficient, later you can re paint the walls and maybe build a custom PC for editing/ gaming, add acoustic panels and floor carpet. And add 2nd monitor, Key light + RGB, extend the table top to fit the width of the room.

my plan was to keep gold for the first year to get the bonus, and then make the switch to cobalt...trying to figure out how to go about this, looks like we cant move directly from gold to cobalt. my thought was to open another card (green or one of the free ones) that still collects MR points to keep my points, then cancel gold and apply to cobalt separately. let me know how youre going to go about your switch / if you've found another way??

I had to open a new card to get the bonus for Colbalt and downgraded my gold to the green one to keep my points. They said they were able to merge the points for some reason. Hope that helped.
