This is amazing. I had one in ‘90 in Japan. Upgraded the motor and suspension. Had headlights too. It got stolen in the 00’s 😢 my kid had fun playing with it.

Keep an eye on those front axles!! They fall apart. 13:04 I TIG welded those "caster" pieces. Also, put a couple of degrees on it. :) They'll never slip again.

Numero Uno!!!!! The Frog is my go-to vintage kit for bashing. It's the test subject for any of my track changes. If the Frog can't do it, then the track must change.

😂😂 happy with that choice as I would've been with the FAV.....saying that, i think i prefer the Frog as I haven't built one bit have build the Wild One so similar to the FAV. Looking forward to the series. Man, i loved those PC pots. The smell was amazing.. 😊😊

This mod could be done to a lot of Tamiya transmissions such as the Hotshot and Fox or any Tamiya transmission that use 1150s on the outdrives. Much easier than the way I did for a Hotshot , which was tapping the outdrive and using an M2 capscrew to tighten them together. It was adjustable though 😁

That's a lot of stuff, you got going on! Very well worth watching this channel update, not small stuff! Especially the track, that'll be exciting to watch, of course I can imagine the heat might be too much right now, but do RC cars during the day, construction in the nights, he he... I'm excited to see that FAV with Aussie paint scheme on it, that'll be awesome! I just watched Addam's Playground, he had painted his and was applying the decals to make it look like it was spray painted, seemed like a hassle... I have an FAV lined up in my own project queue, but it will be a fake, with DT-03 everything except the main chassis, it'll be fun, I'm pretty sure it will be painted plain black, we see about that... Cool update, lots of stuff guys!
@TamiyaTalkRC16 күн бұрын
@madsrcbuggy thanks, mate. Yeah, Addam said looking at the FAV decals makes you feel like you're drunk. And he's not wrong! Haha I had to check if my glasses were on!

It was really good to watch, I enjoyed this a lot! And I did learn something, too! I doubt I will need to start calculating this, but possibly in some cases if I can't find right gears, at least now I know how to check them! It was a good tutorial video! Keep them coming, mate!

Nice work. There are a few Tamiya cars that those Red servos don’t fit properly, I found that the cheap MG995 servos from Amazon will fit the grasshopper/ Hornet chassis without re-drilling chassis.😊
