Excellent video. I do have concerns about Google SEO going forward because people are using Google less and less for information such as product reviews (they use Reddit and KZbin more). Google AI snippet is useful but it ultimately undermines website who created the content in first place. If not corrected by Google, then this just turns into your old, high page rank sites as primary players as small/medium websites getting pushed further down in results. In other words, I would not rely entirely on anything that is exclusively tied to Google SEO as it shows signs that it may loose relevancy going forward.

What also helped me in getting bylines is: a) simply asking my ghostwriting clients to give me a byline in a few pieces for my portfolio; b) focusing on onboarding only those clients that offer bylines to their freelance writers. #4 is a big (and common!) one. It’s a mindset game to see your freelance writing service as a business and not tie your identity around the “writer” bit. Can relate-and wish I stopped making this mistake sooner! Another mistake I made: not establishing workflows sooner. Clients appreciate when freelance writers take charge of the process (trait of a business owner!) and make the collaboration streamlined for them. Being in the driver’s seat-instead of letting the client dictate how to work-helps SO much.

This is super comprehensive for beginners and intermediate freelancers-especially the bit about undeserved/underrated niches. Got lots of ideas to think about for my business for 2023-thankyou!
