this was not a prop failure/loss. the motor came Loose. when that happened, continued throttle usage caused the motor to spin around, which seriously twisted the motor leads; and possibly the main power leads. as a result of that, the power and control system glitched. the unscheduled full deflection of the ailerons is/was a symptom of glitching. d

@@teuluPaul I try to put the battery in the same exact position every time. It's just weird how it flys so perfect and I have a 7 minute flight and the next time it goes up and comes straight back down... maybe I'm taking off in different wind directions.. sometimes with the wind sometimes against the wind I guess that could be it
@teuluPaul2 ай бұрын
@@jessesmith1489 Flying downwind can be challenging, and taking off downwind even more so. Always aim to take off and land into the wind! When flying, the key is to watch the attitude of the aircraft rather than the speed. If it is well trimmed, it should fly at a good attitude "hands off" regardless of flying direction relative to the wind. If you flying downwind, it seems to be moving quickly, and there is an automatic tendency to pull up elevator, which can lead to a stall and loss of control. Even if you are putting the battery in exactly the same place each time, perhaps the stability would be improved if you move the CG forward a few millimetres - it would certainly not do any harm and be worth trying!
