Try the process on red-clay...flower-pots, roofing tiles. It burns a glossy black ribbon of glass into the clay. It doesn't branch at all, rather it arcs directly between the points. Once the arc is burning into the clay, the glassy discharge can be guided with ease. A 15Kv 'ignition transformer' can pull about 4 inches before the arc fails.

Well done on still being alive. Please tell me you have engineering in your name, what sort of engineer are you? No way is it electrical. One of the most dangerous set ups I have seen, you could not pay me to hold onto the high voltage rods like you do, absolutely no safety standards at all. If you not answer some simple questions stop doing this 1 insulation rating on the rods 2 voltage rating on the cable 3 safety equipment voltage rating 4 what triggers the transformer incase of emergency 5 have you trained anyone on high voltage rescue and CPR 6 voltage output of the transformer Your video is a lesson on how not to do this. I truely love how people with no idea of the danger they are holding show people how to do this wrong, well done.

Fractal burning poses a significant hidden risk of electrocution. The American Association of Woodturners Safety Committee and Board of Directors strongly recommend woodturners avoid the risk altogether, by refraining from the use of Lichtenberg burning techniques. This type of art has become increasingly popular and deadly due to exponential popularity in the use of KZbin type video teaching. THIS CAN BE DEADLY!!!

I'm confused. What has he table got to do with the dead man?
@oneanddonetzone36734 ай бұрын
@@patriziapiccardo2428 people are building these devices called a Lynchburg device they are extremely high voltage. The two most popular ways are to use a transformer out of a microwave oven or to purchase a neon sign transformer. The problem occurs that you’re holding them one in each hand and if you make contact it basically runs electricity through your arms through your heart disrupting it’s normal electrochemical rhythm. Without a defibrillator The heart will simply just fibrillate not pump blood thus your dead. The way that the device works is that you use an electrolyte either salt water or baking soda painted on the board so it absorbs and then the electricity will follow the electrolyte in the solution thus burning the board.
@melthebelgian.58373 ай бұрын
@@oneanddonetzone3673the high voltage involved also cooks your muscles on the way through, so in the slim chance you live, you will never be the same again. Low voltage does what you described high voltage is a whole other world of hurt.
