So you can’t make parts on the shop when you are Vericutting your program? 🙃
@quebuenoestaesto3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t run anything on the shop that has not been tested with VERICUT. Its too expensive. 😬

I know that processing power would be insane, but it would interesting to see the software also have input information on the cutter geometry, to also show the chip flow. That would be beyond epic for simulations. :D How much is Vericut anyways? What's a ballpark figure?

Excuse me, but I still don't get why did you assign the same driven point number (1) for both tools. Same goes for in-program tutorial. Doesn't driven point reflect H parameter i.e stick-out in CNC tool table?
@CgtechVERICUT8 жыл бұрын
+CouncilofThirteen, In some cases, the driven point ID and the cutter compensation ID could be different than the tool ID. Also we have lots of cases with alpha-numeric tool IDs. It's possible to configure VERICUT in order to ignore the Driven and cutter compensation ID. Please feel free to contact CGTech Technical Support if you need more details. www.cgtech.com/vericut_support/

Great commercial Vericut!

Why do we define work offset from spidle to stock and not from tool to stock? What's the difference? Sry I do understand it probably dumb question but still..
@CgtechVERICUT8 жыл бұрын
+CouncilofThirteen on most VERICUT machine configurations this will give the same result. Sometimes the relational offset will be from other components, this depends on how the machine was built, if you need more information contact your local CGTech office www.cgtech.co.uk/about/

Hello dear How to integrate VERICUT into Solidcam? I couldn't find GCODE SIMULATORS/VERICUT menu in my solidcam, but i installed vericut 7.3.1 and Solidworks 2014, Solidcam 2013. Thanks
