It is strings attached to the masks and they are pulled down into the costume, at lightning speed. That's all it is.

Thanks for the info, but you can keep that to yourself.. I seriously hate it when people reveal things because they Think they know it. Just saying face changing is like magic tricks where you shouldn't reveal the secret behind it. It the secrets that makes things unique. Thanks to you, you destroyed that...

Its to hold the sleeve up and cover the face without making it appear that your hand is no longer holding the sleeve. It allows you to use a hand to reset or adjust things without it looking like you used your hand.
