WHOA. I have never heard this part of Jim's story (Air force problems, DUI). Jesus. So he not only conquered trail running, but he did it in the shadow of all of that. RESPECT!!!!!!!

"...for all of us?" If that's the case, why has the central government closed over 10,000 miles of roads on "public" land in Utah alone?

I have had an Urban 8.0 for the past few years. I do have the Alfon 11 speed and the disc brakes. I do not have the dynamo light.I don't think it was marketed in the US, although I did get mine through the Canyon website.. I love the bike. It rides well and it's my go to bike for riding around town

As someone who only skis on well groomed slopes in Europe 90-100mm underfoot sounds ridiculously wide to me, I consider anything above 75mm an all mountain/powder ski

This product is garbage. Don't waste your time or money. I bought two of them for my trip to Europe and both did not work due to the locking mechanism, that when you put in the correct combination, would not open. I had to use tin snips to cut one of them when I had my bike locked to a tree. Took less than 10 seconds to cut, thankfully in my situation. The company is not responsive to criticism and basically told me I was lying and did not want me to send them the lock that did not open as proof. They were not willing to make things right.

Great video! We have essentially the same model ARE (although ours is the same height as the cab), same windows as you got, and sadly we have tons of water infiltration every time it rains. Do you have a similar experience? Did you find any solutions/hacks to stop it or do you just get wet when it rains?

I am watching from a few miles down the hill in Arizona as a wildfire burns not 3 miles from my home in identical rough terrain. Thanks be to God, there's no wind today. But in grateful humility, my heart goes out to the families of these heroes. We think about your firefighter. We pray for you. Thank you. Thank you for your unfathomable sacrifice. Our hearts break for you. The people of Arizona look on that site as sacred ground, and as long as wildfires burn in Arizona, we will never forget you.

I replaced 1/16 with 1/8 shock cord and it was a beast. The reason was i thought it was all the same when i bought the cord and i didnt want to return it. My tips: Get some painters tape and tightly wound it around a section with no fray ~1 cm off the end. Cut it in the middle of the tape. Then fuse/burn this tip of the rope. Once cooled down remove all the unburned tape and burned tape. It is now thin enough and frictionless enough to thread easy.

You start with a Trangia, because it’s versatile and good enough for everything - the best choice if You don’t know yet what kind of outdoor stuff You will end up doing. Then You get something ultralight for backpacking, a biolite for bicycle or kayak (to charge the phone while cooking), a gasoline stove for motorcycle tours (to fill up the cooking fuel at the same time as the vehicle, and to have the cooking fuel as emergency fuel for the vehicle), and You shouldn’t go on real expeditions in dangerous environments if You don’t know better than some random person on KZbin what kind of equipment is the right choice for that kind of expedition. It’s as simple as that. Oh, and probably something cheap for car camping, because volume and weight are not at premium in a car trunk, and if it doesn’t work, You just drive to the next diner.

The better diet is what they ate 8 million years ago, before the paleo diet of our great ancestors. 8 to 12 million years ago, they ate dog dung only, and men lived to an average age of 238 years and women 293 years. Dog dung is rich in nutrients and contains everything we need. You eventually get past the taste, and after a month or two of violent vomiting, you grow used to the diet. They also walked a lot back then, on average 33,000 steps each day in the summer months and then around 18,000 steps in the winter months. The d.d.d. (dog dung diet) is also referred to as the triple d .
@IronHorse20072 ай бұрын
Well, that triple D isn't good for you either unless the dog is eating a raw diet with added vitamins. Dogs eat the same junk as humans nowadays, processed food. Good luck with your crappy diet, lol.

When you burn the end instead of tying it be real sure the melted blob is really big enough as to not be forced back through because of the cord tension. Speaking of tension you want to have just enough to hold the poles together, but no to much to make it hard to fold the poles and prematurely wear out the elasticity out of your new cord.
