On the ps2 and ps3 versions you can’t skip cutscenes.

@@Andrethegiant2008 the Korean voice lines are much faster than the English voice lines, and the cutscenes are trimmed to match with Korean, so the entire game ends up 9 mins faster. The North American release saves back 4 minutes on something unrelated (skipping the epilepsy warning on game resets), so the difference ends up being 5 minutes saved for Korean.

@@keanbartel yeah the skip lets you through the prologue but it also doesn’t register that you’ve completed it, and so you’d end up with 98/99%. So we have to play it mostly normally

The glitch high jump requires just holding square and then pressing X three times. If you’re struggling with it you could try holding square and then mashing X, and move into timing your jumps after getting more of a feel for it. Square boosting makes it so you can jump without slowing down to normal jumping speed (you keep running/sliding speed into a jump). @@slycoopertv5055 yeah you have to jump before that. The first two jumps (two X inputs) should be pressed before that amount of time has passed (about 1/3 of a second after you begin holding square). The charge attack will “happen” in mid-air and cause a dust cloud and that’s why the trick works. And then the third jump (which will be a flip) can be done any time after that.

Sly 1 is the only Sly game which is fastest played in English. The others are ran in Korean, Dutch/Norwegian, and German. Neon is still around but doesn’t really run seriously anymore. Hasn’t in a while. And Gnist retired.

Can you do any version of sly cooper like say you can only play sly if you have ps plus premium

It’s definitely a hard jump. But my advice would be to jump into the corner onto the little ledge, then run left and do a double jump paraglide-boost (hitting R1 right after X or preferably at same time). Make sure to not jump off the ledge too early. And then you want to fight left in the air to try to get to the left side of the door, but also not go too far because the collision around the monkey is to the left. And then right before you get to the door, hit square to get a little bit of extra distance. Hopefully this helps
