I'm in Australia and I think we're getting this early next year. I currently play Bolt Action and I've always wanted to play one of the Warhammer variants but, living in Australia, cost has always been stopping me. Do you think this would be a good way to get into the game without a huge initial cost?
@RotweillerofJusticeАй бұрын
Yeah. I think so. I’m not sure if you have a place in Australia that will allow you to just order the issues you want. But if you subscribe to the collection you can always sell the minis on that you have no interest in. Recoup some of your costs back.

Thanks for the great thorough video 😊 I bought them the other month but only opened them to build today. They are such could value! I bought them to use in Dragon Rampant and potentially other games as I don’t play AoS. I honestly didn’t even know they had spears - I thought they were hand weapons only so was pleasantly surprised. I ended up choosing the spears to use them as Heavy Foot instead of Bellicose Foot. Can’t wait to paint them; possibly not yellow though. What colour will you paint them?

Hi Tiffany. That looks like a nice little kit. You talk about the old style of cockpits well I,m old enough to remember when it was just an angled piece of plastic and two opposing pegs in each fuselage halves. It was bloody difficult to get the seat in the right place as there were no locating pins at all. It was just pot luck. And you had to be careful that the seat didn't fall forward or backward while the glue set. Eeeesh what a pain. You might want to paint that cockpit seat and dash while theybare out of the aircraft. You could also make some seatbelt straps from some Tamiya tape. Its easy enough. Anyway a nice build so far. This is the first time that I have seen this video so some of this advice might be to late for this build but it could be useful in a future build for you. Regards.

Hi Tiffany. I think that Atfix made a small mistake with the boxart on this one. Have you noticed that the camoflage scheme on the 109 is the wrong colour ? It should be dark green over olive green. Not grey. That came later on . Good video. Regards.

Hi Tiffany. I built this kit a few years ago and it took me a couple of months to. Its not an easy kit but with a fair bit of scratchbuilding I got it done. I loaded it with a M3 Lee tank and did it in desert colours. I super detailed it so that meant that I fleshed out the cab and scratchbuilt quite a bit of the trailer as well. The wheels are a problem with this kit , the trailer wheels are where the problem is. So before you set the wheels make sure that you have the right ones in place. I managed to win first place with mine at the Southern Expo so it paid off in the end. Good luck.
@RotweillerofJustice2 ай бұрын
Congratulations on the win. Thanks for the advice on the wheels. I think I saw some stl files on Cults3D for Scammel wheels. I’ll go back and have a look and down load them for when I do the build.

hehehe you tap your fingers so much! I do disagree on your points on imperium vs combat patrol, its nice to expand YOUR army and most likely your friends, this allows people to build outside of their armies and try out some things, i myself am a salamanders and orks player but it'll be nice to build some new things and it may get me into a third army, damn you GW this was the plan all along. Plus it'll increase trading between you and your friends as well as really boost the armies that arent thaaat popular as they'll be a bunch of people trying to trade their models and collecting them will get a lot cheaper suddenly, and that's nice as genestealers could really do with a slightly cheaper army. I'm looking forward to some Votann myself and some chaos. also about my previous comment, i think my browser was just turned down, sorryyyyy! your volume is fine as is your voice hehe.

But do these files have the E5 rules or are they updated to E5.5? Another thing I don't understand in these files, if the rules will be released to build characters from scratch or do you have to go to their site to create them, also I noticed that the enemies encountered do not report XP value, without the value how can you use them in your adventures?
@RotweillerofJustice2 ай бұрын
I think that they are the old 5e rules. I’ve not seen anything to suggest they are in the new rule set. I don’t think they included the xp on the monsters because they automatically level you up as the magazine progresses. I’ve not found it too much of an issue to google either monsters or artefacts/loot to get more information and xp values. I managed to get my DM to allow me to purchase the rust bag of tricks mentioned in an earlier encounter after printing out its values from a google search.

That D100 + box is slightly less expensive than ordering it from a site like Temu, so you weren't fleeced. The thud when you rolled it must've registered on the Richter scale... Having come past the half-way mark, I guess you are going to complete your subscription. I got #1 while visiting England last year (that £1.99 was impossible to resist), but as the magazines aren't available in my home country, a subscription wasn't possible. Still, I checked the total cost for the 80 issues, and it showed that it would be cheaper to get the 2014 PHB, DMG, MM, the Starter and Essential sets, the DM screen, the guide to the Sword Coast and the campaign Phandelver and Below. Considering that the 2024 edition is rolled out, this Hachette edition is something that not that many will own. OTOH, it is different and has some unique content, so there's that, as well as tickling the collector bone. Plus dice to last you three life times...
@RotweillerofJustice3 ай бұрын
Yeah. I was going to see it through to the end. Mainly for the channel. But I have found this really useful in a way that the PHB and DMG haven’t been. The way this has been broken down has made it more digestible for me and some of the items that have been included in the adventures we’ve managed to get our DM let us have. The rust bag of tricks has been my favourite thing and invaluable in some of the fights our DM has thrown us into. 😊
@bjornh46643 ай бұрын
@@RotweillerofJustice With the new PHB at 400 or so pages, almost anything is more digestible... A big plus is that it's analogue, i.e. not requiring online resources (D&D Beyond), and associated transactions.
