sounds great! I love the camera shot too! When ever I watch some one else play I pick up on another nuance thing I didn't notice before, like that last lick before going into the chorus with that 5-4-5 slide lick. One of the best ive heard.

Dang dude, this is great. Subbed to your channel. How long have you been playing? I’m trying to learn this song now and have made good progress but slow. I’ve played guitar for about 10 years but mostly acoustic bluegrass stuff, and only really got into electric guitar about a year ago. It’s a ton of fun but a whole new challenge.

Great cover! Been loving watching your channel lately. I was curious how you EQ your amp. I’m trying to get closer to the SRV/Sayce tone and yours sounds so good. Great playing man

Great question, he could make a video showing his equipments and guitars
@AlexTroulanGuitar5 ай бұрын
Hey, for the SRV/Sayce tone I’d set the amp pretty bright with lots of treble and mids, bass can be a little lower. Also plenty of volume so it’s breaking up slightly.

Sick! Keep that going brotha! Music will never die if we keep it alive. I liked your own special little touches and flairs you added. Sick riff, Philip is the goat for me. Srv and hendrix obviously are the two previous kings. Philip's now taken the crown and is carrying the blues kingdom on and forward strongly like a perfect leader and role model of a guitarist. He's the king now.

Nice! I'm the co-author of the only full-length biography of Howlin' Wolf, and I always loved this song, loved the way Stevie Ray redid it, and love the way you play it here with some licks that Stevie Ray didn't play. Hubert Sumlin told me that Wolf wrote this song about Hubert's first wife, Evelyn, who fought with Hubert constantly. I'm not sure if that story is true. It was a "Hubert story" -- maybe a fable. I am pretty sure that Evelyn knocked Hubert's front teeth out with the back of a pistol late one night when he accidentally grabbed and ripped her blouse to try to keep her from leaving his car. I believe that story. Evelyn was very credible when I interviewed her; Hubert much less so. Hubert later said Wolf knocked his front teeth out. I doubt that. Wolf could be tough but was very protective of Hubert.
