The holidays messed up the first time I just fixed the holidays. As for the work time & hsy it fixes itself after you play for a sim day, save & exit. It works that way every time I have to reinstall mcc.

I turned my mcc game speed to 60 & I’ve been playing for about 3 years with it like that.

Question: I see in your video when you have GShade on, your menu and all still look pretty normal. Is there a setting or something for that? Mine are all wonky and the text is pretty distorted now.

**IF YOUR GSHADE MENU DOESN’T SHOW UP** Make sure your sims 4 game matches the DX setting selected @6:11. In the tutorial @MissLollyPopSims selected DX9 but if you did like me and selected DX11 (most compatible with newer computers) then you will need to enable DX11 in the sims 4. You can do this by going to the EA App and right click the sims 4 icon, under the menu tab you should see manage and then click properties. Under properties you should see a text box. Type inside “-dx11” (no quotation marks, keep the negative/minus sign ahead of dx11). Then hit save. Open up game and voila! The gshade menu should appear. Unless you change the corresponding hotkey (tutorial here @ ) its default should be shift + backspace, which you can use to open and close the menu whenever playing or taking screenshots. For those who want to revert back to dx9 or disable dx11. You simply follow the steps above to get back to the EA App and delete “-dx11” in the text box. Hit save, and now your game no longer has DX11 enabled. Hope this helps ❤

Thank you for the excellent tutorial! I was wondering something about the CLEANUI: I have DX 11 on my laptop and I always move my Sims from the laptop screen to the external monitor because that is bigger and more pleasant to work with. However, when I use the CLEAN UI add on, my game crashes when I move the game to the other monitor, while the graphics settings remain the same. I guess the system sees it otherwise. Do I really need CLEAN UI or is there another way to get the same result? Thanks for the help! ETA: I figured out my problem. I hadn't realized the resolution on my laptop screen was 2560 x 1600! When I changed that to 1920 x 1080 the problem was solved. So... Now all I need to remember is to temporary switch the resolution of my laptop to 1920 x 1080 move the game to the external monitor and change my laptop screen back to 2560 x 1600 :D

As you probably know placing most cooking devices, including stoves, grills, and pizza ovens, as well as water heaters and fuse boxes, inside a dormitory will prevent playable sims from moving into the dormitory. Microwaves, waffle makers, and popcorn poppers are permitted though and I make sure cafeteria stations and vending machines are placed in ground level dorm buildings as they are meant to combine functions of dorms and campus commons. I sure do hope that stoves and grills would be allowed in dorms but only if cafeteria stations are placed since I place stoves at cafeteria stations in high schools and campus commons to only allow cafeteria vendors to access stoves to cook meals, not students.
