When I do carbon parts that will be painted exposed carbon, I use a product called Duratec 904-061. I shoot it with my poly gun. 3 heavy coats, then block with 150/320/600 then I use an automotive clear like normal.

I've never seen glass doors on a race car have such good gaps and open and close so nice. Usually they sag and you have to slam them to shut. Good work!

im no professional but it seems like using resin to fill the carbon pitting then sanding before clear would do a decent job in filling the holes

@@WackBoiDrip that’s what I was thinking but all the fiberglass resins I’ve used harden to a green/brown/red color I’m sure there is some type resin/gel coat that’s clear for the carbon

When you go to paint the fenders and door on the camaro make SURE you have them the same way as if they were on the car also don't paint any of the parts with a reducer that's not the same or you will open up a can of worms that you can't come back from.
