@@--Carolina thank you so much. That’s really nice of you. I can understand about the surgery recovery. I’ve had five in a year. It’s rough. The hardest part has been the weight gain due to all the sedentary convalescing where you have to wait six weeks between every surgery before you can do any kind of activity at all and then you’re super burnt out and tired from surgery so the pounds just pile on. Definitely hit the bell on the video so you can be notified of any new postings, but I try to post every three days.

@@debbie9001 actually he does have better paper. The hardback editions. Thicker and works amazing with waxy pencils like Prismacolor and Soucolor. Just hard oil pencils or water-based mediums. I did a full tropical santa picture with Soucolor pencils in the hardbook and it is magical. Will include in Patreon this weekend it opens finally for enrollment.

@@angelasantos4730 awesome. You have a lot of them I’ve never even heard of. I don’t know if that means they are more student-grade quality or maybe from other countries. I will have to look into some of these brands. So you can likely relate that different pencils performed differently on different papers for different effects so there’s always a benefit to all the different sets.

@ I have the 500 and it’s worth it because I really do use them all. If you can get the 500 instead, I think you would be satisfied. I don’t know why, but I feel like I have to have every color of every set that they make.

@@Ninjamom_colours that’s interesting about the fixatives and the acrylic wash although that just sounds like a lot of hassle and more than I’m wanting to do haha. Yeah the bigger book by Thomas Kincaid is so much detail. Everything is tiny. I can’t even see all of it since my eyesight isn’t great. But this one I find is really reasonable and things aren’t quite as small, which is nice. Yes, I’m finally feeling better fortunately but now I’m having surgery next week. Again. Fortunately it’s the last one. Thanks so much.

@@LeeDee5 generally no, that only happens with really cheap markers. I’ve noticed it in a few coloring books as well. I opened it up on a page that I had already done with markers. There are some yellow on the page that was touching it. It doesn’t happen on paper that is meant for markers like the express blending card or Copic marker paper. Traditionally only in coloring books with more cheaper paper. I read that it has to do with a combination of the yellow ink and the paper, of the two compounds, not mixing well. Something about fuming organic compounds, known as aldehydes, only found in yellow. I recommend you get some tracing paper which comes in a pad that you tear off and put inside your coloring book on top of every completed marker page before you close the book and put it back on your shelf. Keeps any of the inks or special effects from rubbing on the papers that it touches. This happened to my friend with the cheaper white Ohuhu markers she got on Amazon that are not apart of the Hawaiian series.

@ yes that’s because they are a petty knock off stealing the namebrand name by some unknown company. Not really ohuhu.

@@ColoringNanna913 hi there. First off, none of my markers are dried up. I do about 30 pictures per month and I use all the different markers because I like variety. And if you lay your markers on the side instead of upright, the ink disperses out so one end doesn’t get dry. Second thing to say is since I teach adult coloring, that is why I have to have a majority of the different pencils because different pencils do different things on different kinds of papers with different techniques. It’s not just only for variety. You can have five different pencils on one specific type of paper, in one coloring book, and they all will perform differently. Each one requires different techniques. Many of the supplies you see are for the special effects you get in advanced adult coloring such as the glitter, the stickles, the paints, the fixatives, and additional supplies beyond just putting color on a page. Certainly when I die or when I’m too old to be doing coloring or teaching anymore. I will donate whatever remains that hasn’t been worn down. And I give away things for free in my collection all the time in my Facebook group. And when you have a lot of people in your life, including over 2000 people on your channel and in your Facebook group, you consistently get gifted adult coloring supplies, which allows for more variety. I assume it’s obvious I couldn’t buy all of these myself lol. I have been coloring for 8 years and I’m at an advanced level colorist and teacher. Hence all of those supplies like many art teachers would have. Supplies accumulate overtime. And you do get tired of using the same things over and over which is nice to have more variety. This is not uncommon.
