This early Arthur Alexander ballad has young Charlie really concentrating on those four different beats for his four different limbs... Good job!

Back Again ‼️ Can't stay away from my fave RS song . . . I just have to hear those opening chords and I'm 17 again, back in 1969 (or thereabouts) at college, and I'm with friends . . . I can still see them in my mind's eye, and now it's Oct. 2024. 🎼🎵🎶🎹🎸 Great times, Great memories ❤

Arthur Alexander was a fantastic song writer,who had his songs covered by both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.,who seemed to go under the radar quite a lot. What about the song 'Soldier of Love'. Brilliant!

Keith has the main role on this one. And masterfully too... Not trying to neglect Taylor’s role. He was so brilliant on many occasions. But there’s been a tendency to neglect Richards playing in this period - as if he suddenly wasn’t able to play the guitar anymore... Well, if you have the slightest knowledge about music, just note where the guitarists have their fingers...

To be honest, these guys weren’t the best musicians. This cover sounds like a new started garage band to me. Best version of this song was made by Status Quo♠️
@fuchsiaswing85452 ай бұрын
Don't mistake raw authenticity for being a garage band. These guys are tight but loose. And Mick Taylor would blow any guitarist from Status Quo off the stage. Also, they have Nicky Hopkins on keys and Jim Price and Bobby Keys on brass-all studio-level musicians. The whole band is on fire.
