Hasbro, or whichever toy company owns G.I. Joe, should produce an action figure based upon Drago's life story, complete with video training clips of his journey to America. THIS is Patriotism! This is the American dream! Guarantee you that Disney won't touch the idea.

As I've commented in other KZbin interviews with Drago, some wealthy benefactor should invest in a line of American hero action figures, with Drago as one of the outstanding examples of truly living the American dream.. Complete with in-depth curriculum and video courses on his life in Communist prisons, and his incredibly inspiring love for America; all designed for middle or high school students. America needs REAL heroes, not contrived Hollywood fantasies. Oh yeah GO NAVY!!!

you’re right that none of that is inherently socialist but you’re absolutely wrong about socialism being a dangerous concept.
@internet_internetКүн бұрын
Nobody who works hard wants to see the fruits of their labor go towards someone who doesn’t deserve them. Also, the beauty of America is that we all have choice. The choice to do good by ourselves, or the choice to compromise ourselves. Either choice is always there for us to take hold of. In a socialist system, you likely won’t get to choose the foods that you get to eat, as healthy food would be redistributed to those with the best connections first, and then second would be equally distributed to the rest of the public, and then there wouldn’t be enough to go around. Whereas our system now gives people the choice to buy the healthy stuff if they want it. Most just don’t seem to want it…

One of my closest friends and the best dude I know, including various other SOF and conventional forces guys, is a former 160th Blackhawk pilot during the thick of GWOT. Crusader 06. Now a state LEO here. Top man, great influence to everyone who knows him, as close to selfless as they come. Love that guy.

My dad is very anti-gun. He’s also short, fat, is 77 years old, and has had 5 joint replacements. He genuinely believes that he’ll be able to handle or get the best of anyone who might ever be a threat to him. He’s the type that believes he is right about 100% of his beliefs, and that those of us who are close to him are all completely wrong. Very frustrating.

Never played a round of golf. Last time I went to a driving range, I broke the head off of my driver, and it went flying. I thought I was swinging well. Ball hit the back fence often. Sold the rest of the clubs. Now I just walk, ruck, and run golf courses at night. Get to hang out with the coyotes, fox, raccoons, possum, and the occasional bobcat. Even saw a beaver in 2023, which is the first I’ve ever seen in our area.

The movie was a great influence on me at the time. Too bad my navy recruiters lied to me every step of the way, and I ultimately ended up with an unexpected “fraudulent entry” discharge out of bootcamp as a direct result of doing exactly what they told me to do.

Birdman, I grew up skating for 10+ years in the Austin outskirts. Still got most of it after a warmup. I also joined the navy at 18-19 to try to go SEAL, and ultimately got an unexpected discharge out of bootcamp as a direct result of listening to my recruiter when he told me “just say no about that part. It’ll be easier if you just said no about that.” I respectfully request some skate footage from you. By the way, you kind of look like PJ Ladd since he found Sikhi and grew his beard, but yours is way thicker.

I am this man’s biggest fan! Let me tell you how humble he is - I watched another podcast he did 2 months ago on KZbin. I was BLOWN AWAY by his humility and the love for his father that HE never lost - it was beautiful to me. I made an IG reel referencing his compassion and strength and tagged him. He replied very graciously and we began DM’ing. I’m a retired 30 yr police officer who now works w/ vets/1st responders to help heal their PTSD & traumas after healing my own. Zack agreed to do a Live IG referencing the same b/c it’s such an important subject and he’s such a selfless guy. The live went great and I asked him if he’d be interested in doing a regular podcast on mental health awareness, inspirational stories like his etc and he agreed. So we will be launching that soon. That is an absolute warrior - with the F’ing heart of a lion! And his compassion is off the charts

I think I would’ve been a few classes ahead of you. I got unexpectedly discharged out of bootcamp in Sep 2014 for “fraudulent entry” as a direct result of listening to my recruiter when he told me “just say no about that part” on one box on my med questionnaire for MEPS. That one no-checked box got me unexpectedly sent to separations in RTC. You’re one of my favorite team guys, Zack. You are one admirable mfer. My family became my priority when I got discharged too. We all had bad relationships. I focused on trying to fix those relationships and putting myself last. Today we’re all good, and that made me tear up a little bit just typing that. For the first time ever, it feels like we’re a team. Godspeed, frogman. Shoutout from this former E-1 tadpole in the Austin area.
