Ok rant but I can’t cope rn this is crazy: After seeing Dan’s latest video like a bit after I suddenly got this song in my head and was so confused I thought it was unrelated and completely random, anyway went on Spotify found the song and in the first few seconds my mind was like this song + Dan and Phil? Something clicked and in my head I could literally here their voices and laughs at certain places in the song I was like I must have seen an edit years ago, so I searched on KZbin and this came up,, I clicked and sure enough I can see that I’ve already liked it and watched it years back. Whilst watching this I’ve literally had chills it’s taken me back to such a different time when I was much sadder and Dan and Phil were really the only thing I had keeping me going and now I’m just sat here crying feeling nostalgic kinda sad but mostly proud at how far I’ve come, how far we’ve all come

I remember getting really attached to this song actually when this edit came out, I listened to it on repeat and recently it just happened to pop into my head trying to make a nostalgia playlist for the phan phase when I was also 12. I still remember all the lyrics and the little lines and voices from this exact edit

i love this so much words can't explain, and it fits so perfectly for them! <3 and i love this song now, too i also really relate to the lyrics.. ~(venting ahead)~ especially with my depression getting worse in quarantine i can't see my boyfriend at all, either he switched schools during this too and video calls are exhausting so i don't talk to him much i make myself feel by watching videos and playing games i'm not getting any school done i seriously watch videos that make my heart hurt just to feel something besides being empty
