I used to play this a lot......But only so I could listen to the music via the Sound Test. Because I could never get past the train chase scene ;.; Stupid giant butterfly nets......

Explanation why the music sounds different: The music is from Raiden Fighters or Raiden Legacy, which has no spatial effects and no clear effects. On the other hand Raiden Fighters Aces does the opposite.

I prefer the Raiden Fighters Aces themes because they have a spacey effect and the alarm sound is low in the boss area theme

Space Colony is my favorite. Feels like Im not piloting the ship, but I am the ship, that fights the epic battle against huge life struggles. Epic battle of the small ship against the cruel world.
