Hello! thank you for this video! I was looking to see if there is a way to disable the reporting to the Central thru a landline, I have no more landline and had to disconnect it from the system, this is on a SP6000?

Hi Eric, Yes. Absolutely you can turn off telephone line monitoring. Check the babyware or winload tutorial. You go in the "Reporting" section, remove the monitoring station number, select "Disable Reporting" and turn off "Telephone line monitoring", so 3 sections you have to deal with. I am assuming you are an installer.

On older ip150 Internet light will be on if swan is enabled. You can do that by logging into the ip150 webpage. On ip150+ I believe it should come by default. You might have issues in corporate environments because internet access may be restricted

It will take me some time to have this ready, but it is really straight forward. You set your zone to Instant Fire if you want the signal to go immediately or you set it to delayed fire if you want to give the user sometime to silence the alarm. Usually about 30 seconds.

@@sedky69 I programmed the zone as an instant fire zone. I set the fire reset to the Pgm1 output. I put the 1kOhm resistor at the end of the line. My only problem is that now this fire zone is constantly open. I can only alarm with forced arming.

@@andrasabraham9399 What kind of smoke detector is this? If it is a low voltage smoke detector, it should go on one of the zones. You don't need to use a pgm. If it is a high voltage you use a relay.

@@andrasabraham9399 It looks like a low voltage. You can wire the NO and COM to a zone and set that zone to be a fire zone. Use instant for testing, but when you're confident it works, set it to a delayed fire zone to give them some time to silence it in case of a false alarm.

It is a tricky question. When it comes to EVO192 I am always reluctant to upgrade them without a good reason such as the need to connect with an IP module or something like that. Even more so if you have ACMs on them because an upgrade to the panel might require an upgrade to the ACM and possibly even other accessories. Assuming it can be upgraded, you have to see what ACMs you have on them. If you have an ACM1P don't do it because you'll likely need to replace it with an ACM12

If it is used as an alarm panel you can try to upgrade. The software will tell you if the panel is not upgradeable. As a disclaimer, check what equipment is on it to make sure those equipment will continue to work and be prepared to need replacements in a worst case scenario.

One last note, because the version is very old the firmware will be 128k, so it will need to be upgraded to a 256k first (if it allows you), then it can be upgraded to a more recent version.

Thank you for the responses. the panel is just an alarm panel. no modules are attached to it just a k641 keypad. so no acm ip50 etc... The reason for upgrading the panel is to replace the older keypad with a more user friendly TM50 which require that the panel should have a version at least 2.16. I tried version 2.18 with infield and 307USB setial connexion but did not succeed.

@@JamesB-b5v In this case it is fairly safe to attempt the upgrade. Keep in mind that you will need 2 upgrades as I mentioned. After you upgrade to the 256k you can go to any recent version. If you go above version 6.x you cannot go back. Once again, if something goes wrong you might have to replace the panel. It never happened to me, but you never know. I also recommend to power cycle before you attempt the upgrade and also to have a good battery connected. Don't let the laptop go in sleep mode (or run out of battery) during the upgrade.

Hi Wael. Thank you for your videos! I’m needing some help on the following: I’ve installed an evo + acm12 for 1 door access for a laundromat. Using a LOX mag lock. My customer wanted a schedule set for the door to auto lock/unlock. Unlocked from 7am-11pm during business hours. Problem I’m having is the mag lock will lock at 11pm but won’t unlock itself at 7am so they physically need to go to their store to tap the fob every morning. The Door PGM button on the app only allows for push exit and will go back into locking state right after Is there a way around this? Basically need the door to unlock itself at 7am qnd remain unlocked as per schedule Kind regards, David

Hi David, try unchecking “Card/pin activates unlock schedule”. I believe the schedule will kick without the first swipe. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks. By pressing the clear button until it beeps in about 6 seconds. That will mute the keypad so it will only beep for 10 seconds and stop. Be careful though; an undesirable side effect is that when the system is armed and you enter the house you will not hear the beep that reminds you to disarm.

@@ceco941 Pressing Clear for 6 seconds will enable/disable the mute function. If clear doesn't work and your keypad has musical note sign printed on the down arrow, you can try that instead of clear. Let me know.

If I understand you correctly, the ip module and phone line monitoring are completely separate and can be independently configured. In fact some of our customers are monitored by both. I don’t have experience with sms but I imagine it is separate as well because I remember seeing a separate section for sms in babyware

@@chuj9288 From what I see this is a different type of panel. It seems you have to scroll through the menu. Check page 28 of the manual steps 7 and 8. If not you will have to contact your dealer. I am not affiliated with Paradox.

You can get it if you have the babyware software, but you need the panel ID and password. I assume you are an end user?

@@heroharo unfortunately you need to have one of those two pieces of information. Either the installer code or the panel ID and password. The whole point of these is to prevent others from taking over your panel. If the panel is not locked you can factory reset it. To find out if it is locked, power cycle it. If it is locked you will hear the relay clicking. If it is not locked it will just startup.

Of course if you power cycle it you will get timer loss trouble and you will need to adjust the clock. Also keep in mind if you factory reset the panel (assuming it is not locked) you will wipeout all the programming

@@gabortoth3374 I have never tried that. Try connecting using the static ip. Make sure the ip module is connected to the serial port of the panel. The one on the top right of an sp6000. There are two ports that are similar and it is easy to confuse them if you are not familiar with the panel

You can download an older version of babyware. Older versions don't force you to change the password, but the password should not be left at the default. You can also try to change the id and password using the keypad. For evo it is sections 3011 and 3012.

Hi. I am not sure what the MG32I is. I don't see it on the paradox site, but generally panel id and password are sections 910 and 911 respectively. From the start, press Enter, press installer code, press 910, the numbers are going to light up according to the panel id. You press the same number as they light up to move to the next number. Once you reach the end of section 910, it automatically goes to section 911. Follow the same process.

Hi Mark, I am not aware that you can increase the volume. As far as I know it is either on or off. Hold down the clear button until it beeps to mute or unmute. For the zone numbers you hold down the zone number

Hi I am looking forward to the the training video about the zone setting. 1. I am not sure how to set the access code (to arm/disarm) for a simple house security setting using Babyware. I know how to do it using the keypad. In Babyware there is a large number of users... while in a house setting I was using one code for arm/disarm. 2. I am dealings with a situation in which Babyware reports no trouble while the keypad shows trouble (no wireless bell!?). I do have few wireless windows contacts in the system (SP with an RTX3) but I never used or set a wireless bell. Not sure where is coming from.. Many thanks,

The key pad flags a trouble. When checking it show missing module: wireless siren. I have never install or use a wireless bell. Not sure how it was added to my system. most likely is a default setting. However when open up Babyware there is no trouble list. Any suggestion is highly appreciated. thanks

@costelflueraru2442 Have you tried a module scan? Section 955 for the SP and MG series. Tell me which panel you are using and which lights come up when you press TBL. Also once this light comes up, press it and tell me what lights (digits) come up next.

The system is SP7000+, K32LCD, K10V/H and RTX3 with 5 wireless contacts. On the keypad (K32LCD) is shows Trouble Press TBL. I press TBL then keypad shows: Missing Module{arrow up} [0] to View {arrow down}. Press 0 then keypad shows Missing module{arrow up}, Wireless Siren {arrow down}. Pressing arrow up again it cycles: Missing module{arrow up}, Wireless Siren{arrow down} when press again changes to Missing Module {arrow up}, No trouble {arrow down} continuing to press the arrow will cycle between this two messages. No other knob/digit is lighting up! It is annoying! Babyware shows no trouble!

@@costelflueraru2442 I have a couple of suggestions, but I have never dealt with this panel or a wireless siren before. Check sections 587 options 3 to 6. Set them to off. Also sections 683 to 686, make sure there are no serial numbers there for the wireless siren. sections 691 to 694 same. Section 695 press enter. Once confirmed there is actually nothing programmed for a wireless siren do a module scan section 955. It will clear any trouble related to a non existing module. You can try section 955 before you do all this actually. Let me know what happens. If not there is always the possibility that the panel is defective.

I never experimented with that, but here is what I see from the manual: "The Input Speed defines how quickly the control panel responds to an open zone detected on any hardwired input terminal (does not apply to addressable motion detectors and door contacts)." I could see this being used with zones that are falsing too often, but I haven't tried it yet, so try it out in a controlled environment before you use it in the field.

Regarding Input speed, you can adjust it to increase or decrease the signal response time in that zone. eg: default 60 input speed allows the sensor to respond immediately however you can adjust it to increase response time to 2.3 or 4 seconds

The latest firmware updates don’t have a web interface like before. Also don’t assume it is bricked. Just leave it connected for a while and let it do its thing. Forget about it for an hour or so

I am not familiar with that one, but based on the manual it is compatible with SP and MG series, so I assume it is the same as the K10H. Just a different look. I mean there is nothing to program for a keypad. If it doesn't work it may be a very old model for the Esprit line up.

Can you still access the IP150 from a web browser after firmware version 4.0 ? I just bought an IP150+ (PLUS) and the web interface refuses to load. "IP Exploring Tools" detects the module but I can't change any settings, not even the IP address from DHCP to static - it asks for the password, it SEEMS to work, but in reality nothing gets applied. The HTTP port is zero by default, so the browser refuses to connect to it...

4.0 is a buggy firmware. Try to upgrade to 4.2 or above. Actually once you try to upgrade it will automatically take you to 5.2. You should be able to access the web interface after.

I just discovered the IP150 PLUS dropped the web browser interface - the HTTP port number shows up as zero and the browser refuses to connect.....I wonder if the IP150 (blank) also suffered from this as a result of a firmware upgrade, so I may return the IP150+ and try sourcing an IP150 instead....

Do you know which firmware version you have there? At one point I had this issue, but with later versions I am able to login to the web interface

@@sedky69 It's V5.06.014 the latest on the Paradox website (and I believe it upgrades automatically). It could be the model itself dropped the web support (like I said - I have the PLUS model), so I was curious if you still have access to a standard IP150 (base model, no PLUS) to confirm it still has the web interface even with the latest firmware, which for the base model (no PLUS) should be V5.02.058 according to Paradox. Really curious if they dropped the web support on both models via firmware or just on the PLUS model.

@@sedky69 Please do. Yes, mostly for the convenience of setting it up. I feel like I've been ripped off. I worked with the IP150 before and I could quickly set them up from the web interface. Now I have to download a dedicated app on my phone, plus have to use an installer account ! Can't even do it myself as a regular user...definitely NOT OK on Paradox's side....

I checked one of the ip modules I have; it was actually a regular IP150 that has been upgraded to the firmware you mentioned; It looks like they have disabled the web interface. Even the https is disabled. You might be able to assign it a static ip using the tool (I haven't personally tried that), but worst case you can do it on the router level. The functionality you really lose is email notifications. Hopefully it is just a bug that will be fixed in the future.
