How do you like it so far? I'm looking at getting a 450j lgp or a C3G lgp

Really liked the 450j. It did all that I asked and was very pleasant to run!

Could you make a video of all your equipment and trucks?

I’ll have to do that sometime, although recently I just sold off a bunch of my big excavation equipment. Decide to stay more focused on our landscape maintenance jobs and such. Basically did a downsize 🙂👍 Less stress

I still have my DL 250 and use it for plowing or loading my trucks. It hasn’t many hours on it but still starts without issue and works perfectly well, I have zero complaints about my Doosan 👍

Do you still have the Doosan DL250? If so how is it now and any problems ? I was going to look at one and just wondering. Thank you for your time.

The Arctic Sectional we run on our 244J is a five section mold board or 12’ wide basically, it is a great set up for winter work! We install our winter tires and custom made rims and it really works much much better than the stock tires. It also saves our summer tires from wear and tear and yes it’s really easy on fuel useage 👍

Do you like this machine? I'm thinking of buying one. Have seen that they have motor problems on the wheels and the paint does not hold up. Any other problems?

Aside from the normal wear and tear they are amazing machines I picked up a UW series with a rear 3pt Hitch so I can use a plow on the front and blower on the back in the winter

depending on options, from 53k and up. Great little machine! We use it for tree installs, Mulch work, bush hog work and snow plowing plus moving things around the shop. :-)

How do you like the sectionals? Pros/cons? Looking into purchasing one, the theory sounds terrific, but do they perform as well as advertised?
@lndscpe
@lndscpe 10 жыл бұрын
Hey Colin, I love the way the Sectionals plow! I have three of them and they are great to plow with, with one exception, the flex blocks that hold the moldboards are rather weak and flimsy, Arctic changed the durometer of the block in their later plows (even though they told me they hadn't) and they break much easier than the originals I had with my first Sectional plow. You just have to be careful when you stack your piles. Has it stopped me from purchasing them.....no, would I buy another.....Yes. I have a solution I am working on for our personal plows and hopefully we have it time to trial it before end of winter.

Empty weight of my 5500 is a little over 11k with full tank of fuel, trucks GVWR is 19,500,so roughly a little over 8000 lbs is in DOT safe zone.

Nope not a problem at all! I just run out of weight not torque. The Arctic Sectional plow is a great plow for that machine. I run them on all my heavy equipment and those plows are really easy on machine and operator. My 244J Deere is a great little loader!

Do you have any problem with torque? i thought 59 Net HP would not be enough for anything more than 8' plow or pusher. Any thoughts?
