This is excellent. I took a series of tai chi classes years ago and the instructor was awful. He was interested in packing the room and moving from form to form too fast. He was no help. I ended up doing my own cobbled together version. Now I can follow along with your instruction. This is so clear. Thank you.

Do you know Jin An Wong? I learned this set from him many years ago in California. Haven’t seen it anywhere else. I love it and teach it to my beginning classes. Do you know if he is still teaching? He said he learned this from his family in China.

brendablueys I am glad to know that you like this video, learn Tai Chi is not easy, you have to follow the movements and keep on practice, the method is to learn one movement first, fully understand, the 2nd Movement, 3rd........after several months, you will succeed.

Well Done! I am trying to return to Tai Chi after years away from the 24 form Yang version. I wish fot traditional labels for each position to help me remember. I am starting with 8 form and want to progress back to the 24 form again. Thank you for great demonstrations!

This is a very clear video of the form. This is Yang style, authentically Chinese, and It is also called the 10 form (which makes sense if you count the commencement and the close). A great starter form ... and then you can move to the "simplified 24" which uses all these and more and also moves a long a straight line, where this one is sort of in one place.

I sprained my collarbone 2 weeks before I was suppose to take my physical test to be able to apply for Air Force special forces. Ligament damage takes forever to heal. I've been a martial artist all my life but tended to focus more on punching, kicking and grappling people and never was too into this kind of thing. I've heard tons of people say that this kind of thing is amazing for healing and with my injury it seems like a good, slow and easy thing to try out. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any advice or specific forms I should look up as a beginner?

Taichi is a natural form of exercise, regarding breathing, for beginners you just do it as you walking. One simple concept is breath-in when you close your hands to your body, breath-out when you move you hands outward. Like pull and push,

Learn from a local master...some offer free classes. Use these video as a reminder only because you gotta learn to breath...because it is the main focus and not just waving hand and leg
