Came here for the tutorial, stayed for the performance. You've got the vibe and the voice. Excellent. (and yes, I picked up the chords too...)

I don't usually criticize anyone's videos, but my brother. You need to stop explaining and just play. That was frustrating to watch. Sorry
@TGAcousticLessons4 күн бұрын
I have found that teaching is much more explaining than playing. There is plenty of playing in the full lesson. This is just a 'Preview', of course.

This was based on some of his live versions from later years, and not capoed up the neck like the original recording.

I’m sure this would have been a great lesson ( I’ve always been a big fan of Michael Nesmith ) , however all the blackmailing KZbin adverts that kept crashing in every 15/20 seconds or so completely destroyed it , so I had to give up ( this is to force you into taking out a subscription of course), non of that is your fault or in your control of course so Im not blaming you , but perhaps your not aware of it, or maybe this is just a problem for us folks over here in the U.K. ..KZbin is now making it almost impossible to watch anything unless you subscribe lately .😡

Why not just use a capo and play it in g
@TGAcousticLessonsАй бұрын
That makes a bit of it easier but when it goes to the V chord (E), you don't have the low bass note, unless you use Dropped D Tuning, which complicates the issue even more.

TotallyGuitars.com is an instructional site with about 2000 lessons on popular songs. Our subscribers pay a small monthly fee for access to all of them. I have been teaching professionally for over 50 years, it is my job. I assume you get paid for yours? KZbin is where many of our members learn about what lessons we have available.
