This particular logo actually didn’t start to exist until 1991.

Don’t know what time of night on late Sunday/early Monday this would have been as I was only 8 at the time, but in my HS years in the late ’90s, I seem to recall (when there was no school for whatever reason the upcoming Monday) they would go off-air late Sunday/early Monday at 2:07 AM EST and resume btoadcasting at 4:30 AM EST with the _CBS Morning News_ , followed by 2 hours of _6 News This Morning_ from 5-7AM EST.

Well The U us coming back as WGN is returning as Chicago's CW station on September 1st

I remember being able to pick up the Flint stations on channel 12 and 66 over my own local stations in Erie on the same channel numbers on a couple occasions. And they would come in almost as good as this, until something in the atmosphere changed and the local stations would come back through.

Saturday June 8, 2024 6/8/24 will mark the 35th anniversary. I will be up at 4:04 am CDT just to replay that video.

The transmitter location does not exist any more in Rural Strawtown and the studios is now a Salvation Army location. The studios moved to near downtown Indianapolis on Meridian street while its transmitter is located on East 56th street on the east side.

They had the 1986 Share the Spirit campaign theme, so that might be 1986, but I don't think it isn't.
