Where are the other 5 parts of the documentary series? This one is excellent. I teach high school here in Los Angeles. I use documentaries made in and about Britain to show my students how real English sounds. This video is a great tool for teaching. Please share the other 5 documentaries. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 By the way, my students invariably complain that they can't comprehend what is being spoken, to which I reply, laughing, "Imagine how you would sound to them!"

I was mistaken, there were only three films in this series. One can be found on my vimeo page althought I will upload it to KZbin soon. One is about a local West Cornwall surfer who surfs the tidal Severn bore, I dont have this film or any reference to it. The other is about Rolands Morris "the last Bucaneer" and his treasure hunting antics, featuring my father (mustached diver, without gloves) called Once in a lifetime, The sea always wins. vimeo.com/25522395

What does that mean, exactly “The last place in England” is it a reference to the space time continuum? Has everywhere else disappeared ? Us with it? Only TV still exists? Lands End I can understand: Been there. Keep walking and you fall in the sea. Got expensive tea shops. Known for them, Cornwall. Get back on the bus (every two hours) and go somewhere they have decent station buffet.

Except it's not "England" .... Cornwall was never formally annexed... there is no Act of Union... in fact there are a number of constitutional issues that show Cornwall is not England.

Hi there Daryl. This is superb. Do you have anymore of Barry Cockcroft's films? I'm particularly thinking of the films he made featuring St Ives, Cornwall. I was a friend of Barry's when he lived there.

Everything I love about Cornwall and the Cornish. Very well captured, and unfortunately a historical document now. I remember old Cornish boys like this when I was younger, but you don’t see many now. It’s the particularly Cornish humour that I love the most, which fortunately is still going strong and I hope will never be lost.

Only found this just now and loved it. It is clean and crisp, as well as feeling quite natural and unforced. I found it to be very nicely done, with loads of potential for development into a movie or TV series - I have a greater liking for short films that give the feel of a larger cinematic world waiting behind what the creators could show the audience just yet.
