I just got rid of my Vidiu. The company my church bought it from revealed that Teradek is eliminating their lower level lines. Why? Too many issues with it kicking people offline randomly. I've even had issues just trying to get the thing to start. $600 piece of junk.

I have a situation similar to this, I use the Atem Mini Pro Iso and the streaming bridge, and a network switch. I DO Not have a Hyperdeck. I did use my Rodecaster to connect the audio into the Atem Mini Pro Iso. I am getting whooped by audio walk. I can't seem to offset the delay enough for my live streams to actually remained synced while using the Stream Bridge. Does any one else have a similar experience of starting a stream in sync, and then having an increased amount of audio desync as the stream continues?

Excellent. Thank you for this video. I have wired lavs on a long cable and couldn't boost the signal sufficiently (the opposite of the problem featured in this vid) and the setting of Mic rather than the default of Mic + Pwr increased the gain boost and solved my issue [whereas the Mic+Pwr default would overboost a line level input thus causing the distortion experienced in the video, and thus the Line setting solved the overboost issue.] I didn't even know to look for this setting.

Hello, Which streaming encoder would you recommend at the end of 2022? The choice is between LiveU Solo, Teradek Vidiu Go and Teradek Wave. The unit will be used to stream from places where there is no ethernet connection. So bonding multiple mobile networks is a must. Thank you!

Slight misstep on the nodes and international capability. The nodes are regional, so a North American one would not work in countries outside of that region. Otherwise on point. We have been bulletproof with our.m setup on the vidiuGo

Excellent video and diagram! why do you need the HyperDeck, streaming Bridge and CamLink? I thought you can do all that directly from the ATEM, especially if using vMix? Is it to be able to use one of the cameras for Zoom calls? Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Exactly. I use the hyper deck for video playback. The streaming bridge I can use for potential interviews.

Awesome. Try coming out of the rodecaster pro monitor out and connect to atem mini mic input. Make sure that you go into the atem settings under the audio tab and select “line in”.

Sorry but you can’t even compare teradek with LiveU. Teradek is not even a competitor. Use LiveU solo and you’ll see why. You talk about using an hotspot and having the choice on tereadek? You can do exactly the same on LiveU. I think you’ve never used a LiveU…

Thanks for the video. You show the part with the lowerthirds. In vmix you are able to import an excel sheet for the lowerthirds, right click on LT input, title editor and there data sheet. I was trying to set a button where i jump for- and backwards between the different LT's so i dont need to change it manually in vmix. It should be with the button "vmix: datasource - next row" in companion, also typing in the correct name and table but its still not jumping around. What am i doing wrong? Thanks in advance

I have almost got everything setup (so damn close). I tried to get away without needing a network switch as I know nothing much about networking. I see you have linked a gigabit ethernet switch. Does it matter if it's 'managed' or 'unmanaged', can it be any gigabit ethernet switch, or does it have to have specific requirements? I need to buy it from the shop because amazon takes too long to deliver to New Zealand. The only differences between yours a my setup is that I'm using an Atem television Studio HD Pro video switcher, and I don't have a streaming bridge (nor do I think I need one)
@duncandixon62033 жыл бұрын
Quick question - when recording from the ATEM, will it also record the sound from the rodecaster? Or do I have to record it off the rodecaster separately?
@JerryHandy3 жыл бұрын
If you are using the Rodscaster then connect your usb c drive for recording and all sound can be captured with the video. You can also use the rodecaster as a back up audio file.

You have answered a question I’ve had for months in my frustration to keep a Live Stream from tanking. I was clapping along your statement of testing speeds at areas before guests arrive and then speeds dropping dramatically once I started streaming. My theory is actually truth and you may just have lifted a huge stressor off my brain.
