The commentary is wild... 🤪 ... dude is so unabashedly a white guy with all that comes with it. He is unassumedly trying so hard to make India sound like the western imagination of it in colonial times, mystical, almost magical, with living gods, and people living in squalor seeing the divine in everyday sights and creatures. I mean it is incredibly patronising how he seems to be so sure of the stories he tells. It's like "The Imperial Gazetteer" in video instead of print. Quite excrementitious to be coarse barring the little tour of the bird sanctuary.

My wifes dad was a flight engineer at truscott and saved the American bombers after japanese removed engine bolts in a overnight raid. His name was Garnet Pearce. He also tried to save the crew who landed in the sea but was turned back by explosions.

You only had to pop in a couple of hand grenades to clear the water of sharks and crocs. We used to do that in Angola when we wanted to swim in the river on a hot day.

I've sat in that ball turret and seen alot of this base and loads of artifacts still there. When I stayed at Truscott on many many occasions during on Coast watch (Border Protection ) flights. This base is so interesting, so much still there, I even sat on one of the old shitters still in a row.
How does such a unique and curious video have so few views? Even one single school using this for education purposes in conjunction with a museum visit would garner more hits, yet a Tik Tok vid of some goon eating a bar of soap can get millions of views in days? Nice vid anyhow David.

Hello, I think declick/decrackle is not for vinyl restoration because it makes the sound muddy. One friend has told me that no one plugin is for vinyl restoration apart from cedar that is sold in very high price. The only thing this person I know does in vinyls is to close the sound with much bass that covers in some way clicks and crackles, then normalizing and gain +3db extra! But in my own ears is not good the louder is better.

I have used this a number of times & it worked well except once with academics (leaders) who initially didn't know what to discuss & ultimately severely criticised it for being so unstructured

Thank you for your work. The example of the ocean is redundant. What did you want to show at 11:50 ? A multi band gate ( and nothing else is a denoiser based on a noise capture,... it's bands depend on the fft size) closes when the threshold is above the signal level, absolutely astonishing ;-)

Hi David, Wonderful. You really master Vasco Street Maps and Vasco de Gamma. I have a question for you : how to import a personal picture in the software. For example, I want to show the hotel I stayed and I have a photo of it. How can I have the photo inserted in either VSM or VdG ? Your help will be much aprreciated

yes, all a design thing, for eg. that is why ultra large format still shooters (8x10" and above) use wooden sticks, they claim the wood absorbs the vibrations, and doesn't transfer them to the camera. this is very noticeable as for these still view cameras the depth of field is like a sheet of paper, so any motion WILL show up.

What kind of PC do you have, which CPU and which graphic card? It is so smooth. I have a workstation with Xeon Processor, 5 years old, but I cannot use that software in a normal way. I will buy a latest PC next time, so it would be helpful to get confirmed any hardware which is appropriate. I almost have that version 15 and street maps 9, ultimate each. Furthermore I am amazed about your calm with it. I am struggling all the time as there are some bugs inside. I am wondering about the name length of your street maps. I got the email message from Motionstudios that 30 letters are the maximum. I had some names longer than 30 letters, then those could be chosen but were not accepted by an empty box. Also the appearance of that maps is not correct in the percentage. Therefore I could not understand for appearance and fade. I found it is another number for zoom than in the setting. Many things could be easier, could be combinded. But the programmer makes more features every year instead improved usability. It is like it was never really tested. Additional there is that learning course, at least that other guy could test it and make a good feedback. Instead he always tell that it is easy and there is just something to switch. As there is a learning programm shows that it is not easy. It is so much to set up, including manual camera, otherwise the result is not brilliant, and that takes so much time. Hours for just some seconds at the result. Anyway, it is fascinating for all that simulations. We are tracking all movements during the vacation. Those can nicely imported. It is also very helpful not to adjust the way, when it is almost done. And then it is authentic.

I'm using a Ryzen 7 5800X with 32GB RAM and a GTX 1660 Super graphics card. Editing is in Vegas Pro 21. I agree there is a lot to learn. I have made suggestions to Motion Studios and they usually incorporate those ideas in the next version. Good people to work with!

Thank you for the review. Regarding your statements about 12K resolution being equal to 65 mm 15 perf motion picture IMAX camera resolution, you are tragically incorrect. 65 mm motion picture film based IMAX is north of 16K resolution, not 12K. Digital IMAX has a resolution of 12K, but we refer to that in the industry as "Lie-Max !" There is a dramatic difference bertween 70 mm film based print IMAX projection and IMAX Digital projection. This, in no way, takes anything away from the excellent URSA 12K camera. The URSA 12K is an amazing piece of kit ! 👍😃
